So I have an used CR-10 I got from a guy online. It's the first generation with the stock board. It works, except for the EZABL. It keeps printing too high up and I spent months trying to fix it before giving up and deciding to uninstall it. Turns out that's not so simple because it's enabled in the firmware and now the printer is expecting it and won't home without it
So I decided to re-install the firmware. It's got the unified TH3D installed, so I figured I'd use that
So I downloaded the drivers for the correct chip, but wasn't able to install them. I followed the video linked in the download page, which is 12 years old and meant for Windows XP and after following the instructions, my computer tells me the correct drivers are already installed and refuses to install the ones I downloaded. I googled how to manually install drivers on Windows 10 and it also tells me the correct drivers are already installed and refuses to install the new ones
Not knowing what to do, I ran the firmware update anyway. The tutorial tells me compiling the firmware will generate a bin file that I can put on a memory card, but it doesn't output a bin file. So I connected the printer to my computer and tried to upload it anyway, but when I try to upload it, it just gives me the following error:
avrdude: stk500_recv(): programmer is not responding
avrdude: stk500_getsync() attempt 1 of 10: not in sync: resp=0x05
It repeats this for another 9 attempts, counting up each time, then outputs the following:
avrdude done. Thank you.
It then tells me it failed. Not sure where to go from here
I also got a copy of the original stock firmware for the original cr-10, but I don't know how to install it
Any help would be greatly appreciated

I have a Minecraft server on a raspberry pi which runs using systemctl because I use ssh to connect to the server and can't have an ssh window open somewhere 24/7. If you start the server through the command line like normal, you can send command in game to the server, but since it's run using systemctl I can only use systemctl status to see the server's output, and I can't input anything. Is there a way to input commands on a systemctl service?

A few weeks back I came around the corner to a male with his dog, the walk way in front of the property is private but if you’re just passing through it’s no big deal. Well this guy was all up on the main lobby entrance looking in the windows (after hours) and letting his dog sniff around the front door, I reminded him this area is private property and to kindly move along. He didn’t like that and wanted to argue with me which led to a call the following Monday morning from said trespasser to property manager. Management 100% backed me up and I guess he didn’t like that, now he stays of property but will yell obscenities from across the street or pull his phone out to film me etc, all for a reaction with the hopes of getting me fired because he’s very clearly butt hurt. If this type of harassment continues is their anything I can do from a legal standpoint, I’m worried he’ll escalate to more severe tactics because he’s currently not getting the reaction he wants, he’s not on property when this occurring.

Idk for certain because he’s definitely rough around the edges. A nice person, but has a very snarky personality. So anyway, we’re talking about how personal our essays are for grad school application. Another friend asked if our stories can make someone cry. I nod yes, and she inquires.
I tell my guy friend (and her) that I struggled with a speech impediment while younger. And to this day, some of my close relatives still make fun of me. His eyes turned slightly red and watery, but it almost immediately went away. Honestly, it was a blink and you’ll miss it type moment.
He also had a speech impediment, but idk how much it affected him emotionally. I wonder if maybe he felt like he could relate? Or if he just has that much empathy for me in general? That being said, he told me to not make it so emotional. Not in a mean way, just a matter of fact way.

Hello everyone ! I am currently struggling to find a graduate program in public history ,also torn between staying where I live or moving away. I stayed home for college for my BA in Anthropology with a minor in art history graduating cum laude at Stony Brook University in 2023. I have been working at a historical society since April under collections and archives and completed a big project for them with historical homes. I am now working on an online exhibition for them. I am interested in historic preservation; libraries and archives; The Holocaust , Irish and British culture and history, the supernatural, folk music, storytelling and material culture. My ideal job is working in a museum , exhibitions archives education or research. Maybe even working on historical documentaries or movies , I think public history has manifested in such a different way with media in this generation and grown up gravitating towards those medias in my own search of knowledge. I don’t really know. I don’t really have much mentorship of people in my field. I work under a historical archaeologist but he doesn’t have much knowledge in public history programs. I don’t know what programs are “good” and which one would accept me ? I studied abroad at University College London for art history for a summer in 2022 and really liked it there so I am considering that! Here are my options so far :
Trinity College Dublin University College London New York University Stony Brook University University of Albany Long Island University Northeastern University
I really chose only northeast for United States and Ireland is where my family is from so I would love to study at Trinity too! I will definitely have to take out a loan but I just don’t know how much I should be putting into a masters. Any advice or comments would help ( clearly I am lost lol ). Thank you guys!

and then i didn't get a single duo boon the whole fucking run. #and then i proceeded to get 5 sacked.#
I finsihed [redacted] at 21 minutes. Reached him at 19.. it was going so well. But when you dont even get mirage shot or splitting headache and your doing a Beowulf run. Welp.
I play beo a bit different than the community Dio cast > Poseidon cast. So my run was also aiming for splitting headache alongside dios legendary. I got offered both of them once.. I also got dicked by hermes and chaos. Got auto reload never got the legendary and only saw chaos once.. and i didn't even get + cast.
Yeah no my run sucked.
