I've posted this in both skyrim and SkyrimHelp but nobody has even responded. I recently bought a dock for my steamdeck and im trying to play Skyrim but the aspect ratio is wrong and I have these big black bars on the side of the scree. I don't have this issue for other games and I have even gone into skyrimprefs.ini and changed the aspect ratio to the same as my tv but nothing is changing, for some reason the Skyrim launcher is not working and instead the game just launches immediately, if anybody could help I would super appreciate it or at least insult me in the comments so I know my post id actually being seen by someone

I feel like once a month (a week?!) someone is on here ranting about tipping. I want to hear your stories about sit-down, full-service restaurants where the service made you feel not only happy spending your dollars, but good to leave a tip for a hardworking person who obviously made an effort to know about the product they were serving and taking care of their guests. Sometimes, I feel as though in the tip fatigue we forget about the folks who are doing this well and — regardless of whether or lot you agree with tipping as a compensation model (NOT the point of this post!!) — should probably be making more than $20/hr for the work they do to help us celebrate our most special life events… or Tuesdays. Whatever it was.
Full disclosure, I work in service part-time (full-time student here) and am lucky to work in a restaurant that lets me do my job well. We serve high-end food in a semi-formal, but mostly cozy environment, and prioritize accommodating allergies and honoring special occasions. I’ve had many amazing shifts there, but the other night I just had so many wonderful guests come in and wound up connecting with them so well. They each wanted/needed different things, but I was so grateful for being able to celebrate an anniversary with one party, the memory of a lost loved one with another, a beautiful sunset on the drive in with a third. I am genuinely curious who else out there is having these special moments. I want to go there.
Finally, I will start: I recently dined at Sophon, an excellent Cambodian restaurant. The bartenders took so much time to explain the origin of each dish and the restaurant’s unique preparation. They were so helpful in sharing details about their cocktail ingredients that I was unfamiliar with, but very curious about. They were funny, pleasant, and paced our meal elegantly. It felt like a style of service I hadn’t had since before Covid. It was awesome.
I don’t plan on serving forever, but I like seeing people do it elegantly and learn from them. It’s not just for work, either; it is an awesome way to practice thinking about how I communicate with others (and strangers in particular). It’s something I hope to keep getting better at as I get older. Life seems impossibly long otherwise.

Zdravím. Nejprve musím říct že mám dlouhodobý pobyt v ČR za účelem studia (tedy mám tu biometrickou kartu) a celou dobu jsem si myslel, že nárok na rodné číslo nemám, nýbrž nedávno má kamarádka dostala novou biometrickou kartu a měla tam rodné číslo (má též dlouhodobý za účelem studia). Myslím si, že mít rodný číslo je dost užitečné pro život v ČR, tak bych mě zajímalo jak jej získat. Vím že můžu jít na MVČR a zeptat se přímo tam, ale nechci aby na mě tam koukali jak na debila, radši ať tady na mě mysli ze jsem debil...

I am debating purchasing a 10th Gen iPad from either Best Buy or Costco. They are the same price - tbh I trust Costco more - my only issue is that Costco does not have the pink iPad and that's the one I was interested in. Do they maybe have it in store or should I just suck it up and buy the pink at Best Buy. And pros/cons?
