Why in the fuck would Elon Musk want to associate himself with literal Nazis, is the question? He wants to put people on Mars and push his shitty meme cryptocurrency. His shittiness lies largely in his pettiness as well as his ambition overriding his empathy, and his autism making him blind to the emotional states of others.
It's like everyone's looking for something to latch onto, like Elon doing a Nazi salute is just a big win in their minds, like it proves that they're right about him all along. The second "salute" looked like a "oh, shit, did I just do that, I better make this gesture again in a way that will look like I'm doing something else, woops."
No one gives a fuck about rationality or calming the fuck down to try to get an accurate assessment of what is going on in someone else's mind, in someone else's world. It's all conspiracy theories and projections, this cloud of absolute horseshit.
On that topic, that's pretty much everyone politically. I.e. to take the opposite tack, everyone on the left is too chickenshit to just own the fact that migrants are being taken in because it's a humanitarian crisis. Whether or not we should be doing that is up for debate, but just own the fact that there is a good reason to want to take in migrants instead of being chickenshit about the fact that it's happening.

Howdy from Texas! My son is a senior and has his application submitted. He has a nomination, great fitness test, clear medical and a good interview with his BGO. He is also a Sea Cadet leader with multiple advanced summewinter trainings, Navy ROTC leader that won State back to back years and National finalist 3 years in a row where he was a key contributor. He also has his his ROTC Marine Majors recommendation for the Academy and ROTC scholarship. Lastly Varsity football letterman. He is in the top 20% of a very competitive school with over a 4.0 GPA taking advanced credit classes.
I think all of the above would bode well but his SAT scored a 1150.
I know it’s a holistic review but looking for opinion while we wait for the notice. Do you think the above can get him in or into NAPS?

Financial Advisor is just a fancy term for insurance agents.
Imbes tuloy na maconvince yung karamihan to get insurance, mas lalo pa tuloy naddiscourage because of misleading marketing strats and info.
Also, the way they invite people to become financial advisors by showcasing international trips, mga gadgets given by the company, cars, it's giving frontrow vibes talaga 😫
I was an intern before sa isang insurance companies so I know somehow kalakaran nila. I used to be so amazed before sa industry nila kasi bata pa ako and naive but now? Nah.
Dont get me wrong. May VUL din ako.
But maraming insurance agents na financial advisors kuno na pipilitin ka kumuha ng insurance kahit hindi pa kaya ng salary mo for their commission.
I remember nung una akong naofferan ng insurance, fresh grad and take home pay ko ay only 11k.
Inooffer sakin VUL ay 2.5k per month and the FA was really encouraging me to adjust my expenses and spending para maisingit ko yung 2.5k sa sweldo ko. Good thing I was advised by my fellow colleague na wag kukuha ng insurance kung di kaya ng salary kasi magiging burden lang siya.
Alam ko madami pa ring FAs na gumagawa ng ganito.
Sana mabago yung ganitong kalakaran kasi financial advisors are supposed to help people with their finances, help them make sound and informed financial decisions, not the other way around.

2025.01.21 05:04 ProfessionalStick363 AITAH for being upset with husband blaming me for hitting my cup in the car
I have recently started bringing a simple modern cup in the car with me. We have a charging lead in the car, as well. He has hit the cup now several times with the metal tip. He said that it was an accident every time, that he was sorry, and that he would try to stop doing it. Then tonight he does it again. I commented on it and this time he blames me. He asked why it was even there meaning in the cup holder. And said that it doesn't have anything in it. That it's in his way and that he did it because I was rushing him. I was upset because he is always blaming me, never taking accountability for anything. And even with something as small as this he finds a way to turn it around on me, when he could have just said sorry and that would've been it. It led to a big argument in which he told me I was overreacting, it's just a cup, and to let it go.
It's similar to something that happened a while back. He dropped a cup of mine and it got badly scratched up. He didn't tell me that this happened. I discovered it later on. He didn't offer to replace it or give me money for it. I brought this up in relation to him not respecting my belongings. He minimized it and said it happened a year ago. That it was a cheap cup. That he knew if told me I'd go looking around for it and take time doing so. When he could have just ordered it someplace. He is labeling what I said, and me being upset over this, as nagging. It just baffles me how he could even blame me for having a cup in a cup holder. He kept motioning his elbow at it (to demonstrate it's size and how it's in his way) when it didn't even touch it. But even if it did, it's not him hitting his elbow off it that bothers me.
Why apologize all the other times and now blame me? He's calling me crazy and a lunatic for being bothered by this. Please tell me it's not normal and if in the AH here.
