I know I can get the bottom 2 for free ..which should I get first...and which should I prioritize between Cassandra and sage?

Hi everyone! I am a 23F who is originally from Ohio. I moved to San Francisco around a year and a half ago for my job. After being in California for over a year, I realized I really grew to like the state. However, I am not too sure really of how much of a fan of San Francisco I am. I find San Francisco weather to be a bit too chilly for my liking, and also I am not a huge fan of the super hyper workaholic atmosphere in San Francisco. And of course, the high cost of living. I am considering within the next few months to relocate to a new city. San Diego has been on my mind a lot since I have heard many positive things about it. What draws me in is the weather and also that the cost of living will be slightly cheaper than San Francisco. I also love the beach. I want to ask how is everyone’s experience living in San Diego and would you recommend it for a 23F to relocate to? Thanks!

I know this subreddit is flooded with “do I get another cat?” questions, but I’m just trying to settle some pre-adoption anxiety.
I currently have an approximately 1-year-old tabby cat my wife and I rescued ~6 months ago. He has been SPECTACULAR and took to us almost immediately, even moved with us to a bigger apartment when we had him less than 2 weeks with zero issue. He loves people and rowdy guests, has been fine with visiting dogs to the house, and is generally very laid back.
Before the holidays, we got one of those pet security cameras, because we knew we’d be away on travels and wanted to monitor our cat sitter. I made the mistake of checking the cameras while both my wife and I were away at work and my heart broke. He would walk around the house and howl and sit by the front door for hours, seemingly lonely, until eventually giving up to go sleep in our bed. And not just one day either, every day we would go to work and every day we were on vacation. My wife grew up with 2+ cats, while I grew up with just one, so she suggested we get a second cat so he would not be lonely.
After a month of thinking about it we made an appointment to meet some kitties at the local animal shelter, and now I am suddenly having cold feet! I love my current cat so much and what if he doesn’t like or want a new addition? What if the new cat doesn’t like my current one? Of course, I personally would LOVE to have a second cat around the house but I just don’t think I could handle if they don’t get along and I have to rehome a cat I adopted.

I’ve been blessed to be given a generous offer to an out of state college, but I have the majority of the year until I leave.

 | Well fight may be a bit exaggerated but she certainly seemed to think she was doing a great job defending her territory. I took her out for a late night potty break. I live in the middle of nowhere so right outside the yard is the forest. As soon as we step outside we hear something moving around outside the fence. It's just out of sight from the porch light so I can't make out exactly what it is but Pinkie starts running toward it, barking like she's a hell hound ready to tear shit up. I'm not too concerned, we are in a fenced yard after all. Until this animal starts running faster and it's getting louder and seems to be heading in our direction. Then I start freaking out because Pinkie refuses to come inside, she's ready to take this thing on. The only way I can get her inside is to offer treats. She's a stickler for food. It works, she runs inside, I shut and lock the door, and we're safe. Were we ever in any danger? Probably not. But I just think it's so funny that this 8 lb dog is ready to take on whatever beast comes her way. Oh and cherry on top?
