 | Hi all! Here are some sets I made for my DM for some DnD games The idea is to be able to switch all the pieces on it so everything is magnetized 🧲 ! The basis and ruins are really cheap as it is entirely made of foam and palm trees can be found for Amazon also at a really good price (however you need to repaint them for a good look but super easy to do). I am still looking for cheap fruit trees as those can be quite expensive (railway model trees) C&C welcome ! Love him or hate him, I think this quote by Trump is very meaningful, especially in the context of our plight with being censored in favor of that sub, which isn't a "victim support group", but instead a bunch of unemployed people more obsessed with a man who's been dead for almost 17 years now, and pulling "evidence" out of their assholes.
If Trump keeps his word, this could mean that we get TodayAGuilterSaid, MJInnocent, and all the other MJ defense subs back. It's no secret that Reddit definitely left-leaning, I'll put it simply to avoid drama.
Another point I want to add: I remember seeing something in MJInnocent about how Trump defended MJ. I don't know if Trump has changed his opinion since then, but if he hasn't then we might be in luck.
If anyone has any more information I'd much appreciate the input, I want to hear y'alls takes on this. I have faith that we can get our subs back, and hope that sub banned.

2025.01.21 05:54 N1NEFINGERS So my parents moved and let me know found something of mine... 2 old binders.
So my folks moved and found 2 binders of long lost cards. Pulled a few here to share examples of. Have piles of other players and sets too. Seems I sleeved it all. Most seem to be in very good condition surprisingly. Many look like the edges and corners are in good shape. I think I'd like to frame some of the cooler ones or something but I've never graded anything and I dont know if that's worth doing? Some probably aren't worth anything but they still look cool lol.
I've been out of the Basketball card game for awhile now but wanted to share either way because seeing these binders brought back some good memories. Also, does anyone know the best way to extract the cards without hurting them? These have been in the binder sleeves for years and I'd love to not rip them or anything.

2025.01.21 05:54 Colt1873 After watching Gladiator 2, it made me want to say this. Why are there no newer roman movies?
Weather historical or fictional, I love to see some movies of the Romans and their great cities as the legions do what they do best, conquering. From my guess, if they did do more movies or a series, I imagine the plot being fictional but one thing I'd just want most is for the combat to be realistic and the armor to be historically accurate.
This is probably a stupid example, but I just really liked the film, that film being Dragonsblade starring Jackie Chan. While entirely fictional and darn near fantasy, I couldn't help but picture both the Romans and Chinese wear armor that is historically accurate for the film's setting, and it could still have those crazy ass fights since gladiator 1 for example was quite crazy.
Maybe I'm just being silly or just being a Roman geek, I just wish there were more films of Rome or any cool ancient civilization done right, like Gladiator OG. (Part of me wonders if I should ever be an actor to make that dream a reality)

2025.01.21 05:54 Ok_Coyote8853 rookie question: any practicality in dosing below the starter amount of .25mg?
first post but i have lurked for a while! my first vial arrives in a couple days from precision compounding. its cs + b12. this may absolutely be a stupid question but i hadn’t seen it addressed and i am genuinely curious for your input: have any of you opted to dose lower than the recommended .25mg when first starting out? if yes, what was your experience and reason for doing so?
i can be sensitive to meds generally, and wonder if some bodies need a more gentle on ramp. i want results but more importantly want to continue weight training and performing normally at work while taking the medication.
i’m not a doctor, but a family member is and once mentioned to me that taking a half dose of OTC advil was basically useless because of something something efficacy something. so on the other hand it occurred to me that .25mg is probably the starter dose for a reason and less might not actually accomplish what i might think it would. no idea if he was right about the advil, btw.

For the past couple weeks I’ve been having this reoccurring dream involving different men, but all have the same plot. What’s weird is they are all men that I’ve seen or known that kinda look like my boyfriend. Basically what happens is they start to give me lots of attention, I fall in love, sometimes intimate things happen and the whole dream is me and these guys trying to hide our relationship from my boyfriend. Now I want to say that I love my boyfriend, and I would never cheat. But these dreams are happening every night, multiple times a night and they are really starting to get to me. I feel horrible and I do not know how to make it stop. Any advice on how to make them stop?

Now that the clan system has returned will we still be charged the 10% monthly tax on our team’s total points? If no will the points we lost since the introduction of the starbase be returned? At the start of every season will we still get rewards for the level of our starbases level or only the for the ranking of our clan? It took me 5 years of daily playing to help get my clan up to level B. Since the starbase was introduced my clan lost 1/3 of it’s points due to the monthly tax. Hey Pixonic I could use a little help here, the team point tax has all but destroyed mine and my teams desire to fight on. Thank you.

2025.01.21 05:54 Infamous-Ad896 Finance professional U.S.: I am worried about the state of our economic system. Is it no longer an even exchange with consumers?
I want to preface this by saying that I do not know everything. In fact, I want to get a better understanding of what I am observing and why I feel this way. 100% open to feedback.
TLDR: I feel like before in our economic system, a company would provide a good product and in exchange, the consumer would reward that product by spending resources. It now feels like that exchange is unbalanced. The consumer is provided with a decent product, but is forced to pay more because that is the only way companies can continue on a path of seemingly unattainable infinite growth. Am I wrong in feeling this way? *see below for example. Like i said, be honest and provide some insight. I want it.

The best example I can think of is Netflix, specifically in the US for this case. At its core, it is a subscription service and lets just say there are 300 million individuals in the US who serve as their addressable market.
Let’s say Netflix gets all 300 million people to subscribe to them. The business is doing well and they are more than profitable. What i have observed in the market tells me that even though Netflix has captured the market and is profitable, they still have to increase revenue each quarter or the share price drops.
Now let’s say Netflix responds by cutting some of their licensing costs and focusing on building their own library. This action proves successful and they are able to make a little more money doing so. The jump they get from this action doesn’t last long. They then expand into streaming (this has actually happened), by doing things like the nfl on Christmas or the tyson fight. It’s here where i start to get concerned.
Lets use the nfl. The 1pm game is on basic cable, the 4pm game is on a premium subscription (peacock) and the 8pm is on a premium subscription (Netflix). All holiday games used to be on basic cable but now the consumer is paying twice as much for the same product.
On the flip side, even though Netflix is doing well and profitable, they are hurting consumers so that they continue to raise earnings and meet shareholder expectations.
It feels like we are at a point where certain businesses have gotten huge and are doing well, but that isnt enough. As a result, the consumer is paying for infinite growth.
