I am currently at a Director role and getting potential offers from Arla IT in Aarhus and Novo also in Aarhus (remote) as I told them I can't move to Copenhagen in that salary (in the range of 76-85k per month).
I want to know in general where my job will be safer, comparatively? I also have to renew my work permit urgently on accepting one of those offer otherwise my family (including my daughter) is impacted.
Both salaries are roughly the same as compared to what I am earning now.
Which company has a bettesafefriendlier culture in Digital/IT where I don't have to always struggle to keep myself out of being laid off? I'm a fairly senior resource.

2025.01.21 12:10 Parsley-Parking What is wrong with my printer?
I tried to print some temperature towers for pla filament i was using. The first one (Top) Looked like a clog so i heated up printer to 230c and stuck a needle up there.
Then I printed temp tower two (middle). Failed, Then I did number three (bottom) without changing anything, failed worse.
Went to an X benchmark for s and giggles and that didnt work.
Then i printed an extruder knob without doing anything to the printer. . . and it worked?
Maybe the X benchmark got rid of the clog? really weird.

Has anyone experienced worsened heart rate and cardio recovery since being on TRT?
Switched from Nebido to Cypionate around 9 weeks ago and ever since my resting heart rate has increased and my cardio recovery has worsened.
I’m due to have full blood count done, but was wondering could high hematocrit and hemoglobin cause this?

Had a play with the elmarit r 28mm over the last week or so. Definitely enjoying the lens a ton, but also definitely more contrasty than any other lens I've shot before. Thing is that it's said to be on the cusp of the transition between a vintage lens and a modern lens. Having shot almost exclusively vintage glass for the past year, (originally started with the XF 35 1.4 for a couple months) it's definitely a fresh start albeit slightly challenging to wrap my head around. Any tips or feedback would be greatly appreciated:) thanks guys!

PC Specs:
Ryzen 3400G
GTX 1660
PSU: GS Series 700W (Peak)
RAM 16GB
Issue: While I was browsing the web, my PC suddenly froze. I pressed the reset button on the case to restart it, and it successfully booted up. After that, I decided to restart it again properly through Windows. However, the restart process took over 5 minutes.
Once the monitor showed that the restart was complete, the PC failed to boot up entirely.
Does anyone know what could be causing this issue before I take this to an expert?

I am a sx7 and I am pretty sure my wing is 6 because I am always confused with my thoughts, never sure of my opinions, kinda need authority or someone to be sure of my beliefs and have a harder time going after what I want unlike 7w8. But when I am angry or in a argument, I raise hell. there is no doubt or anxiety left in my body. I am willing to lose everything just to win the argument (I sometimes assume everyone is like that but people have told me otherwise). times like this makes me wonder whether I am a 7w8 instead of 7w6. So I am curious because if sx6 tends to be like 8s in ways they confront and go towards fear. maybe thats why I have those 8 like tendencies even though though I am 7w6.
Overall my question is, Is the wing is influenced by instinct as well or is it just the core type?

2025.01.21 12:10 lLoveTech So I am not gonna upgrade anytime soon! Are you guys upgrading?
The S24 Ultra is my first Samsung flagship and I plan on keeping it atleast for next 5 years with probably a battery replacement in the future when needed. My reasons to upgrade are:
This phone has an awesome battery life with SOT above 6.5 hours which is more than enough for me
It has a very decently powerful chipset that should be enough for most apps atleast for the next 4 years (My oneplus 6 with SD845 was plenty powerful and it lasted me more than 5 years... Only reason I changed it was that the battery had deteriorated severely)
7 years of software update: I honestly believe that if the software is properly optimised then the device will stay relevant and stay functional for years (Let's hope future software updates don't brick these devices)
The cameras are not the best but they not bad either. They get the job done although some further optimisation can make it much better. The camera hardware is capable enough (What Google did their mediocre camera hardware in the first three pixels is a testament to the fact that proper software optimisation can make a huge difference)
The S25U will no doubt be another blockbuster hit but it Just isn't enough of a upgrade with it's slightly larger screen, increased mega pixel ultrawide lens, faster chipset.
So as a S24 user I am gonna hold onto my device for some years to come. For me upgrading means that my current device is unable to do what I require from it. What are your plans with your current device with the launch of the s25 series?

When I first heard about the plot of the book I thought it was sort of a manifesto for the Vegan movement but the part about Yeong-hye becoming a Vegetarian is a small part in the plot that sets off a series of events that make this novel a very interesting commentary on subjects like Bodily Autonomy, Patriarchy, Domestic abuse, Mental Health, Conformity and Social Isolation. The novel is separated in 3 parts each with a different narrator related to Yeong-hye. The first part is narrated by her Husband, the second by Brother-in-law who develops an obsession with Yeong-hye and the third part is narrated by her sister In-hye who takes care of Yeong-hye. The narrative structure reflects the lack of bodily autonomy offered to Yeong-hye as even in her own story she isn't given a voice, except in sparsely dispersed paragraphs of her dream sequences. I think this is one of those books that stays with you for a long time and demands a reread every few years. I don't know Korean so I can't comment on the accuracy of the translation but the translation reads very well and feels authentic. The prose is beautiful even though the subject matter can only be described as Weird. I liked the last part the most because being narrated by Yeong-hye's sister, In-hye, it felt more personal than the first two parts and it also delves more into Yeong-hye's past. I'm 18, a few years ago during school I went on an online game.. got speaking to this guy who seemed nice, I was like 13/14 so I didnt think too much into it I was just messing around.. we roleplayed, then he asked for my Facebook which I stupidly gave, my entire friend list and info was public and he screenshotted everything, looked up my school and saw hundreds of people in my school following the page etc etc.. then he tells me if I don't go on camera with him and show my boobs in a bra, he'll send the roleplay chats to my friends, I was really embarrassed so I went on camera thinking it would be over if I did this.. then he screen records the camera session and has more to blackmail me with
Through school he made me do it everyday while my parents slept, made me get completely naked and do much much more to myself, such degrading and embarrassing things often I was crying on camera and begging not to do it, it was so humiliating, he would make me text him constantly through out the day, then he started to make me sext with other guys and would sell me online through kik and expose me to pedophiles:( If I ever said I didn't want to, he'd show me all the things he had on me and would threaten to show my friends and family and my entire school, felt like id rather kill myself than that, couldn't hide my profile as it was too late he already screenshotted everything, one day I then tried to kill myself took an overdose and slit my wrist and collapsed in the street.. I kind or regretted it when I did it so I tried to make it home from the field I was in but passed out on way back, luckily I was found and saved almost died and was kept in hospital for a while, my mum asked why and I told her everything then she made me go police
Turns out he lives in a different country and there was nothing they could do, dont even know his name or anything :'( not only that but he then posts a lot of my stuff online and sends to my friends, this was during exam period and I failed them all due to not being able to focus etc, everyone see's my nudes and I refuse to go to college after school cus I'm so ashamed
Then he contacts me again, saying he still has the worst of the content and shows me what he has.. I was already humiliated I really couldn't let him show this to anyone I really would rather die, so then he starts to blackmail me again, I'm still being blackmailed and I'm so tired, it's been 5 years, the police said they were unable to do anything as he lives in another country, what the fuck do I do, he says if I get a boyfriend or anything and he finds out he will post all of my stuff and by now he has even worse on me that he's made me do, he knows my address as well and says he'd come to my house and kill me or get someone to if I try to do anything
