Been at my job for about 13 years now. For ten of those years I have been trying off and on to find a new job. I have gotten a total of one interview and roped into one of those group interviews where in the end I still didn't get the job despite showing great leadership skills. I dressed professional. Listened to countless hours of pointless advice on how to beef up a resume.
I. AM. DONE.
For many years I have been making indigenous goth jewelry (mostly beaded spiders), Djing and helping my husband run safe and effective goth/alternative events. I love doing it but with a full time job it's rough and I hate having to pick and choose where I should put my energy at. Job, Finding a new job or actually doing things I love.
I decided to scrap the info on my Linkedin, changed my name to my DJ name, replaced my profile pic with me completely dressed up in goth attire and put a video of my beaded spiders up from tiktok with a funny sound. I'm working on a website now.
Doing all of this has made me wonder what would happen if everyone just did this? Just be more of their authentic selves? I dunno it may be silly and like I'm burning bridges but what's the point of building a bridge out of gold when careers only want to offer dead wood for support?

I introduced my friend to Steven Universe and we’ve been watching it together, but we went in with him being spoiled on some major stuff. More specifically that Rose Quartz is Pink Diamond.
I have been having to straight face say, “No” and convince him it was all internet theories that never came true or straight up lies. He said he got spoiled on pearl being Pink Diamond’s Pearl and I just kept saying that it wasn’t true until he was like, “oh, why would they do that” and I was sitting there thinking, “how tf did that work?”
Last night, we watched a single pale rose, and I’ve never been more happy to hear someone yell, “YOU LIED” straight to my face. It somehow worked, and it all paid off in the end. We’ll be reaching the finale and future soon enough.

2025.01.21 13:31 Appropriate_Boot_998 When creating, testing and maxing builds; do you, personally, use different save slots with different stats, a single save slot with some basic stats, or a single save slot in general (being 'reborn' multiple times with Rellana) ???
I'm 600+hrs in, on my 3rd playthrough. RL 212. Going for all the endings and then plan to try my hand at PvP. Now that I've been playing with different weapons and testing things out though, I've noticed that I'm not as effective with certain weapons so I wanna gauge how everyone else is doing it and which method is most compatible with my playstyle. Right is enshrined by the constitution - via the 14th amendment.
There is a lot of discussion on the topic of “jurisdiction thereof” and Donald Trump’s executive order specifically takes a narrow definition of this term to mean that anyone that’s not already a citizen or a legal permanent resident is not subject to jurisdiction (allegiance) of/to the United States.
Some of my observations on this (I’m not a legal scholar)
An excerpt of the 14th amendment is as follows-
“All persons born or naturalized in the United States, and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States and of the State wherein they reside”
This specifically has an Oxford comma before the “and subject” part, meaning that ‘persons born and naturalized’ and ‘subject to jurisdiction’ are two separate entities of the list of persons who are considered citizens of the United States.
Does this mean, notwithstanding Donald Trump’s executive order, courts should and will side with the argument that persons born in US are citizens automatically?
