السلام عليكم، انا اعيش في بلد اجنبي، وتعرفت على بنت اجنبية في الجامعة. خلال الدراسة تعرفنا على بعض واصبحنا قريبين من بعض والبنت اعترفت لي في النهاية بحبها، اخبرتها اني مسلم وان ارادت ان تكون معي يجب ان تتعلم عن الاسلام وتسلم وان تترك كل عادات الاجانب من الشرب واللبس القصير والخروج مع الاصدقاء وكل شيئ. وقد فعلت ذلك، رمت كل ملابسها القصيرة واشترت ملابس جعلتني اختارهم لها، توقفت عن الشرب والخروج مع الاصدقاء تماما، بدأت التعلم عن الاسلام كثيرا واخبرتني انها ستفعل اي شيئ لتكون معي ونتزوج في المستقبل. الفتاة ملحدة مع اعتقاد الحادي، لكن من خلال المناقشه معها والمنطق بدات ترى الاسلام والان اصبحت تؤمن ان فكرة كل شيئ عشوائي غريبه وغير ممكنه، ولا استغرب ان اسلمت خلال بضعة اشهر. الفتاه ارتني العديد من الواقف الي تثبت انها فعلا تحبني كثيرا ومستعدة لفعل اي شيئ من اجلي، وبالمثل لقد اعجبت بها حقاً ويمكنني ان تخيل قضاء بقيه حياتي معها، لكن المشكلة تكمن في اني لا استطيع تخطي فكرة انها كانت مع اشخاص اخرين من قبل. هي فتاة اجنبيه وعاشت طول حياتها في بلدها وطبعاً كانت في علاقات مع اناس اخرين وانا لا احب هذه الفكرها ابدا ابدا. من الصعب لي قبول هذا ولا احب قبول هذا واخبرتها بما اشعر به، وقد اكد لي واخبرتني مرارا ان هذا الماضي لا يعني لها شيئاً وهؤلاء الاشخاص لا شيئ وانها نادمة حقاً على انها فعلت هكذا اشياء وتشعر بالاشمئزاز من نفسها، وقالت انه لو علمت انها ستقابلني لم تكن لتفعل هكذا اشياء ابدا. من جهه الثقه فاني اثق بها تماما واعلم كيف هي واختبرتها عده مرات برأيكم ماذا علي ان افعل؟

My exam # is 4308 I completed everything as far as mini med, jst, psych qualified etc. Whenever I call CAD to get an update on my process they say that my investigator still hasn’t sent it up to the higher ups to get it signed off. I had my initial interview with my investigator over a month ago and sent everything that was needed. Every single time I’ve called/emailed my investigator to ask for an update there has been NO response. I know people say to be patient because some people get the hire email a day before academy or even after it starts but it’s just frustrating to think that my process is getting delayed for no reason.

2025.01.22 00:35 StrategicMagic Is Arrow of Time as bad as I think it is?
I have a copy of Arrow of Time, and, when evaluating this card, I came to the conclusion that it's an awful card. I made a deck and put it in - maybe I was wrong, I thought.
After roughly 15 games in Casual, I monitored the performance of the card, measuring how many times I drew it, and how many times it buffed my cards vs my opponent's cards. There's some inherent randomness as it can buff either player's cards, and I was interested in that.
To test the card, I measured how many times I drew it. I didn't care for the size of the buff, it is what it is. You can't control when you first draw the card, so I didn't factor that into its performance. If it hit one of my cards, I gave it a score of +1. If it hit an opponent's card, then I recorded a score of -1. This meant we had a potential range of 4 points per drew, as each draw could be as high as +2 and as low as -2. In theory, the random nature of the card us accounted for, and I expected to come out with an end score of 0, give or take a little either way to account for variance.
With this system, I could measure how much it buffed either player over the number of times Arrow of Time was drawn. I understand that my sample size is small, but I only had so much time the day I tried this.
I played around 10 games, and drew the card 20 times. That was as much as I had time for on that day, and the results were enough to convince me to stop there, even if it's bad science.
Over 20 draws, which means 40 cards hit, I came out with a total score of -11. That's far from what I expected. Arrow of Time theoretically has an equal chance to hit cards in either player's hands, yet it was heavily in favor of the opponent. If I now factor in how big these buffs are (up to 6 cards per turn, so 12 power per turn, for two cards) then buffing your opponent's cards can be very swingy and incredibly disastrous for the AoT player.
All of this, and we haven't even got to card stats yet. It's 6 energy for 0 power, so it relies either on hitting itself, or getting buffs from other cards to be effective. You have to play AoT if you want to cycle it abd benefit from its draw ability, which makes it remarkably weak when played from the hand.
Now, if we consider that, in some cases, you PAID 6 to give your opponent 100+ power, this card seems truly awful. You go down on energy and tempo to do nothing, while your opponent gets a massive boost.
Imagine a card of 6/0 for a statline that reads "DRAW: Either player, chosen at random, gets -12 power per turn for each turn completed this game."
Would you play that? I certainly wouldn't. The inconsistent nature of this card I think is the nail in the coffin. On paper, it sounds great to get two enormous buffs for 5 turns and swing turns heavily in your favor with a sudden +126 or something, but a lot of the time, you're paying energy to give your opponent a massive lead, and that's just unplayably bad.
Am I missing something here? Am I evaluating this card wrong? I know my sample size was small, but if I am ever going to put a card like this in my deck, I want to do better than break even. To be satisfied with breaking even, it would need to be a 0/0, yet I'm paying 6, so for this to be worth it, it needs to favor me, even slightly, right?
I've worked in game balance for a different game before, so I got thinking about how I'd change this, but I don't think this post is the appropriate place fir that, so I won't.
Can someone please tell me, am I was iff-base? Or, is this card actually about as good as an umbrella in the Sahara?

I cant remember if this anime was either or show or movie ive tried to use AI to help find it but with no help.
I remember it starting off in like the Desert, but one area had a lot of junk on it like ruined cars etc on top of the junk was a worried man and he was attached to it. underneath the man was another man in a car which was under all the junk. Then like either aliens or robots spotted the man who was attached and took the bait then the car guy drives out and kills them.
The world is post-apocalyptic I think and later which i cant remember if it was a flash back or not but it cuts to like a sillio in the ground where humans live and there was this little boy it seemed to focus on it for a bit till it later cuts to this darker room kinda but and a women walks it with no cloths and starts talking to a screen for some reason i remember at least 3 people being in that room but thats all i can remember

2025.01.22 00:35 W_e_l_p_ Negative equity and craziness- please don’t judge me, this was a dumb decision.
Okay- so to start, somehow I got a 2020 Jeep Compass Latitude financed with 14k negative equity- then 5500 in gap and warranty. It was crazy, idk how they did it, but they did. Anyways, it would be soooo amazing- if there was some way, that I could now get a car a lot better on gas. The Jeep compass has a weak engine that makes it go through gas like crazy. Any who, at this point, I am about 20k negative equity at this point. Yes I know I made a big mistake and shouldn’t have taken the deal. But let me rewind- the reason I took it was because I bought a Toyota rav4 and the transmission went in it 2 months later. 10k repair for that is insane. Luckily the dealer bought the rav4 back and refunded the whole car but note, I had negative equity that went into the rav4 as well. Now, is there even a slight possibility, that I could get out of this and get into a more economical car? I’ve read where sometimes if you buy more luxury cars, they can eat up the negative equity. But I really don’t want to go down that path due to resale value after a few years, and maintenance on them. The main reason I want a more economical car is so I can door dash and actually make money and not have to throw it back in my tank. Thanks
