Where I am at, it is NOT normal for us to get snow. Even an inch is not normal for us. Our highs and lows are typically in low 50s and mid 30s.
Anyways my workplace (a factory) gave us a phone number to call them to see what the schedule is looking like for tomorrow. I call them and they say we have a delay start. We start at 5:30 and we will start at 7:30.
Mind you the temperature right now is 24 degrees and will drop to 15 degrees. This is abnormal for us. So tell me this. How in the world is a 2 hour difference going to help us to get to work? None of this ice is going to melt.
Even tomorrow at 3 pm it will be 34 at the most. Like come on now. This is real dumb.
Not to mention, we had a snow warning today and half of a department didn't show up today. So imagine what will happen tomorrow.
Hypocridy is right here. It's just frustrating that a company emphasizes safety as number 1 puts a 2 hour delay instead of shutting it down tomorrow. Well..I'm listening to you guys...I AM PUTTING MY SAFETY AS NUMBER 1 BY STAYING HOME.
Ridiculous.

I filed I130 for my husband in 2023 and we were scheduled for interview October 2024 and I130 was approved. Husband is in removal proceedings and lawyer advised we file I824 for administrative closure of removal proceedings while we file I601A. We filed I824 in December 2024. We received notice from USCIS on Saturday that I130 was sent to Department of State for Visa Processing and notice today that the I824 was approved. Anyone else been in this position and can share what happens next. Of course we are going to speak to our lawyer, just anxious to see if anyone can share experience with a similar situation

I'm looking for fellow shield users who use ss ,as the latest update for me throttled my speed and want to know if anyone else has noticed this on your shield, you may take for granted its working, can anyone check your speeds with ss on v3.12.1 on android tv.when I install the old one 3.11.0, the speed is fine as it always was but when I update to 3.12.1 the speed won't go above 50mbs,that's 2 weeks now it's not changed since update so I'm now worried.
