So usually by the 20th of every month, I'll check my benefits and I'll go to the "payment" link, and it usually shows me my payment for the upcoming month. I've been checking since the 19th amd it's still not updated? I've checked the mybenefits website, checked my messages from my worker, my letters, and there's nothing
My file also says "receiving social assistance up to "today's date" Amy reason why my payment wouldn't have been issued? Is anybody else having this problem?

Im not exactly someone whos no surf but am someone who as of awhile now tries to be more intentional about what i consume. More or less i just try to stick to content i genuinely enjoy. And what ive noticed is this past year is that ive grown tired of internet drama. I used to watch streamers and that type of thing and sort of knew some of the internet drama that went on. And after kind of staying away from that stuff and just trying to stick to stuff i enjoy more genuinely I really just dont care anymore about that kind of stuff.. Im kinda surprised i was ever drawn into it. Its so obvious to me now how empty it all is. Its all so pointless. And something thats also clear to me now is how desperate people are for attention in this online world. People are just so hungry for attention and its just sad. I get why they are. But theyre not going to fill that void that way.

2025.01.22 00:19 ChanseyChelsea Are there wheelchair friendly vehicles that aren’t vans?
I’ve owned Dodge Grand Caravans my whole life, but I’d like to move away from them and get a more reliable (maybe cooler looking too, but not a top priority) vehicle.
Some top considerations for me:
I have a manual wheelchair that I’ll need space for-it takes up about half the back of my current vans trunk with the middle seats up but back seats stowed. I am ambulatory so ramps and roll-in features not required.
Would love a vehicle with a lot of features- my current one is a 2012, so I’m unsure if these are just standard on all new vehicles or if they’re only on certain cars, but would love stuff like lane assist, the blind spot light indicators, auto braking if I’m going to rear end someone, and possibly some amounts of self-driving assistants (not necessarily looking for full self driving, but I hear some cars park themselves and make better emergency decisions?) Also stuff like Bluetooth connectivity and remote start. Also if there’s more current features like this let me know cause I didn’t know half these things existed until I got a rental car recently.
And as much as I’d love an electric vehicle, I’m not sure it’s feasible for my usage. Maybe a hybrid? I drive from Toronto to Indianapolis about every other month.
Budget is probably less than 50k ideally, not necessarily needing a new car off the lot, but probably don’t want more than a few years used. What are some options for me to look into?

I’m sure there’s likely a better thread for this than male grooming, but I look at this thread a lot, so asking here. Growing up, I felt like the main character in the game of my life. Some time around my mid 20’s I recognized there we definitely other players in the game, but I still felt like the main character. My 30’s and 40’s beat me up so much psychologically (just trying to be a grown up), I don’t feel like I’m an NPC at best. Wondering if other men… people… feel this way.

I made a big batch of soup yesterday. I’m a teacher, and they called me off for today and tomorrow due to the cold and wind chill.
Long story short. I let soup cool off the heat for almost two hours with the intent to freeze it. I wanted to store it in my freezer flat. So I put the soup into freezer bags and put them on a sheet pan.
Since it was so cold - I figured it would freeze solid outside in my garage. When I checked them this morning, they weren’t frozen. But it was super chilly in the garage.
Do we think they’re safe?

So I’ve been looking around and basically hearing 2 things. My main question is I currently have a blue dragon slayer task, is it better to use slayer helm + torture or nezzy helm + salve ei. Melee build with dhl, bandos, avernic, prim boots and fire caps. From what I seen others say is that with fire cap I should be using slayer helm set up and the salve method is only better when I have the internal cape is that true?

 | Pic for attention. She looks cute but is a legitimate nightmare. I've had her since she was a kitten and she is 3. About a month ago she has started leaping up on the stove in the middle of the night and peeing on it. I start most days by disassembling my stove, cleaning and disinfecting the whole thing. Vet says she is healthy. I genuinely think she is just evil. I have to close her out of our room at night or else we won't sleep, but I know she doesn't like being left out of our room. Is it insane that I think she is doing it to get back at me for closing her out of my room? Or am I attributing qualities to a cat whose brain isn't that complex? We have 2 other cats and they have all been together for a long time. The other ones behave great. She is just a terror. But my god she's cute. I have tried everything I can think of, besides those super expensive cat pheromone plug ins. I have tried enzyme sprays and like 15 different methods of blocking the stove off and those attempts have done nothing. Advise? It's so weird! And disgusting!
