Hi All, my first post here, we recently moved to our new home and need to replace the 30 year old non-working oven. The oven is connected to a cut off box in a cabinet next to the it. There is no slack in the wire so we cannot pull the oven out for replacement or repair. It appears that the work was done when walls were opened so accessing or hooking up new oven may be challenging without opening the wall. I consulted with an electrician, who suggested to add a junction box behind the oven or in the cabinet directly above the oven. He will run the power from the cutoff box the to new junction box. The cutoff box will remain as an emergency breaker as required by the code.
The questions I have for the experts here are, is there anything wrong with this approach? Would adding a junction box cause any hazards or further issues for the appliance? What other alternatives are there given the current situation. What should I look for to ensure that the junction box and the wire is proper sized and gauge to carry the 5000 W max load needed for this double oven?
If additional information is needed please let me know.

2025.01.22 04:24 redandbluecandles Is it wise to get my gallbladder out after only 3 attacks?
I was recently hospitalized and found out I have a 1.7cm gallstone. I previously had 2 attacks which last only about 3 hours and I thought they were just horrible stomach aches. This weekend I had a 3 DAY long attack which cleared up on its own while I was in the hospital getting an ultrasound, CT, and MRCP. It apparently also caused pancreatitis which has now cleared up as well from what I understand. My doctor is suggesting that I get my gallbladder out due to the severity and length of the attack, there are also medications I should be taking for PCOS that my Dr isn't comfortable with me taking if I have a gallstone and my health goals such as losing weight put me at risk for more forming. I see many people on here wait till everything gets super bad and then get emergency surgery. Is that how is supposed to go or is best? Is getting it out now better? I'm not super keen on emergency surgery.

Yo I’m 15 loosing weight I weight 150 (I’ve probably lost like 3 pounds since I last checked) currently eating 1,452 calories a day burning 500 a day to loose a pound a week but I’m also trying to gain muscle mass is 150 grams of protein a day enough? Idk if I’m doing things right I just want to make sure Is this enough protein for muscle mass? Am I burning to much calories a day? Am I eating enough calories ?
