Some context, I grew up in a very disturbed household. My mother had 4 kids all by the same meth addict by the time she was 22. When she and my dad split, she slept around for some time and then met my step-dad. He was an ex-convict and served 12 years in prison for gang violence and robbery. Soon after that me and my siblings were put in foster care because of their abuse. Somehow after 2 years my mom got all 4 of us back.
My stepdad ran the household like it was a prison. No showers more than 5 minutes or there would be punishment. Food had to be earned. My mom just went with all of it, she seemed to like all the things my stepdad was doing. They were physically and mentally violent. My oldest brother, about 5 years older got addicted to drugs and they let him come stay with us and he’d also get physical with me and my other siblings, which my parents enabled by continuously allowing him to stay. Cops were at my house all the time, I even know some of them personally. They were no help.
I had an older brother, only a year older who had type-1 diabetes. He was mentally delayed so he struggled with learning how to actually care for himself with all the insulin dosages. Eventually he decided he had enough of the abuse and ran away to literal strangers. He died 3 days later and my mother blamed me for it.
My mom and stepdad died last year after I fled from them and for some reason I still hold on to some hope. Maybe I was loved, even though I was never treated as such. I can’t help but hold on and I struggle with this daily. Does anyone have any advice?

I’m about three weeks into my phlebotomy program at my community college. It’s a 3 month accelerated program, and I absolutely love what I’m doing so far. I’ve been doing well on the tests, and I understand most of the material. However, I’ve been struggling to fully grasp and memorize the order of draw and the purposes of the different tubes.
Phlebotomy and healthcare in general is entirely new to me. I find myself second guessing my ability to remember all the essentials, like the order of draw, which tubes have additives or don’t, which ones are coagulants or anticoagulants, and which department each sample goes to (e.g., hematology, chemistry, etc.). I’m also trying to keep track of what needs to be kept on ice, what to avoid shaking, and how to properly handle everything.
Next month, we’ll begin clinicals, and I want to feel confident by then, but I’m starting to feel a bit discouraged. Many of my classmates already have the order of draw memorized and seem to understand the purposes of the tubes with ease, while I’m still trying to piece it all together. I can’t help but compare myself and feel like I’m falling behind, even though I know I’m trying my best.
I’ve sacrificed a lot to be here. I left my job and devoted all my time to this program because I want to succeed in this field. But when I feel behind, it makes me doubt myself.
Does anyone else relate to this struggle? And if you have any tips for memorizing the order of draw, understanding the tube additives and their purposes, or just building confidence, I would really appreciate it!

Hey guys. Well actually I have an older brother who's older with 7 years old and our relationship was normal but it wasn't always the best. Recently actually my aunt start paying for my school and being close to me ,like talking in phone calls almost daily,check on me more than the others,send me money,clothes.....
Well my aunt as I said start sending money to my brother so he pays my school since I still don't have a bank acc , so when she started sending him he started acting more bossy and controlling, like he's the one he's actually paying my school not her ,and when I skip school and stay home because some health issues ,he start complaining about how I waste money and maybe I should just get off school instead of wasting money and get them easily when someone else's deserves it,even though my aunt she understands always about how I stay home a lot and she never even scolded me or complaned.
when I ask him sometimes if he payed the schools month ,he say no why he should when I don't even go, even though my aunt send him money to pay the school immediately even if i don't go,and when I argue and tell him that's none of his business he Starts yelling and says well he won't pay and deal with it my own ,and he start acting even way worse when he heard that my aunt she plans to bring me to Italy with her and he did go to my mother and complain why she only told me that and not him and why she only pays for my school and not for his.
So last night I asked him if my aunt sent him money ,he said she didn't, I was confused because I'm pretty sure she did ,I asked him if he's for real ,he told me yeah and that she didn't send money for the 2 last months too,when I asked my mum she was like not wanting to get involved to not make big problems butI feel like he's not paying my school and that he use them instead behind my back since i wouldn't know because i don't go to school so he's comfortable to deal with it,i wanna go ask my aunt if she truly didn't pay but I'm scared that will makes more problems especially if she did and he just lied and take the money instead. what should i do?....

Story: Hey guys, as many other people, I wanted to feel useful as a logi player, humble start, get a truck, supply the frontline, feel's good. Point is, at some point I wanted to do more, so I started doing iron ship runs, 5 containers in 1 run was crazy compared to the truck with 15 slots !! But still, I found room for improvement, I joined a logi regiment, and now I had the power to coordinate with others, and this is where I am right now. We run resource trains to rafinery, we fill MPF queues to the roof, we can send 3 trains full of stuff to any frontline and coordinate with other regiments to take care of the logistic part of many operations.
More explanations: Point is, this regiment feels big, but I still feel very small, I get the game is designed like that, we are just a cog in the war machine, just a number in the frontlines, and I get that small roles are important, someone has to scroop so we can produce stuff in the first place, and don't get me wrong, in the regiment we all are slaves to the MPF, everyone does scrooping, everyone does factory orders, everyone does transport, there is no "you must do "x" task if you want to drive a train", we are all allowed to do what we want to as long as it is available and we don't disturb anyone else with our actions, our regiment leaders give us jobs to do and maintain some order and culture in the regiment, but we are still free to do what we want.
The point: With that said, I still want to do more, be "more important", "have a bigger impact", but I'm not sure how... I'm not sure the game offers any more tools for the player as an individual to do that, I thought about the "bluefin" ship for cargo transport, this is not something our regiment does but I don't know... I feel like we have a similar impact with the trains, and we can reach more places with them. So, is there a way for me to improve ?
Also I thought about leadership, the regiment I'm in has some "command structure", I guess I could "rank up" and have more to say in what/where/how we could do things, coordinate with other regiments ? I don't know guys, I need some advise/suggestions.

This is so irritating to me i can’t even describe how much.
One of my best friends is a passionate liberal who has advocated for women’s right, gun rights, lgbt. He’s been such a great friend and i adore him. Sadly he’s taken the route of dating a conservative women, which im not against, he can date who he wants. She’s also very respectful to him, acknowledges his feelings and they separate politics from there relationship.
This question isn’t so much targeted towards him or related to him, but what is the obsession with conservative women? I see hundreds, thousands, infinite obsessions to conservative women, claiming how you can tell when a women is conservative, that only conservative women can pull off amazing looks. Just so much disgust surrounding them.
I’ve been “on the wrong side” of tiktok today and every comment i see on a girls post is something like “you’re definitely a conservative with those looks”, and 90% of the replies are “what else would i be”. Followed by drooling and uncomfortable comments on there looks.

She will get upset about something due to linear thinking and not understanding social cues and then get even more upset when another viewpoint is brought up because now she believes she is an outsider and she believes she isnt being supported.
It gets even better because she is very big on sticking up for herself because no one else has when she was growing up so she is now stubbornly defending herself over miscommunication of social cues.

First time posting -- 25F 120 lbs 5'4, G2P1. I don't drink but do consume cannabis about 3 times a week (it is legal where I am). Hx of hypothyroidism, anxiety, ADHD, and b12 deficiency (taking synthroid 0.5, citalopram 20 mg, Vyvanse 20 mg daily, and one 1 my injection of b12 monthly.
Within the last 5 years I have gotten blood work done various times, but without fail each time my CRP & WBC have been unusually high, but iron/ferritin is low. Overall I have been asymptomatic, with the occasional spell of fatigue here and there. I have a normal diet, don't follow any restrictions, and do have normal bowel movements.
My family doctors have changed over the years, so the first one did send me for liver ultrasound that (I assume) came back unremarkable as I haven't had to discuss with her -- I am seeing another GP since my first one closed her practice, and he's possibly looking to send me for another liver ultrasound depending on how my recent labs come back (I don't have values of labs on hand, sorry! I just remember each time of the CRP/WBC/Iron because a comment was made by the doctor and then various questions of if i had a recent ear infection, change in diet, etc).
I guess I'm just wondering if maybe NAFLD is what we're narrowing down for, or possibly celiac? I don't really think just have major GI issues that can't be explained by my 2-3 cups of coffee a day. Oddly enough, when I was pregnant was the only time my labs all came back within range; and then about 3 months PP was when they went back to being abnormal.
