I knew the transvaginal US was not gonna be a breeze (especially since it’s my first ever) but oh my god I did not expect it to be 45 minutes of such intense prodding in there.
I also learned I have a tilted uterus which didn’t help and likely added to a lot of the discomfort, but I’m really glad I brought my spouse with me to hold my hand through that…. Anyone else have a moment (or 45) where they inwardly struggled a bit through this part? The techs were very clinical about it and kind of made it feel like I was being dramatic about my level of discomfort. Would love some reassurance/support, or if anyone has tips to help next time I would greatly appreciate it!

I’ve been an OM for 13 years for a retiring dentist who has reduced to one day a week until his active plans are completed. A new dentist in neighboring town recruited me to be his OM and allowed me to work around the retiring dentist hours. The new dentist was open upon interviewing that his receivables were out of control, his staff was not collecting from patients so he has not been able to pay all bills. He also admitted having a high staff turnover. I started last week. Day 1, I found failed DOH inspection that has not been uncorrected from AUGUST, no BMW disposal/pickup in 15 months. Workers comp is coming Thursday to shut us down because his policy was canceled for non-payment IN JUNE 2024 —I spent all day trying to get a policy active or a staffing agency. A host of creditors call daily regarding past due accounts and have suspended services. I’ve only been there 6 days and all I do is attempt put out fires, big ones! I’ve had 6 different pts today tell me how they get a different answer regarding their balance and many claims aren’t sent on time (or at all) and they want to micromanage me regarding claim filing. He is PPO provider with another office about 3 hours away that is thriving and compliant but has long time staff. I like a challenge and I can help but it’s overwhelming and we’re understaffed. Whats eating at me is when I bring up the issues to the doctor, he says things like “I told X to do that and she didn’t” or “Oh I thought X took care of that” and the like. I know the job and how to resolve the issues and build a team and I’m not sure if I want to. As the ownedentist this is his license, his baby, and if he doesn’t care enough to make sure he’s in compliance when he knows his staff is ineffective or absent, why should I bust my ass. He seems to not grasp the seriousness of the critical issues in the practice and is only concerned about receivables. I get it, he’s broke, but also they’re going to shut him down so then what!?! He seems genuine about not wanting to fail but wants to put his head in the sand regarding any accountability. I plan to have a frank discussion with him in the morning. He is from India and the language barrier makes him a bit hard to read.

As someone who sometimes suffers from poor internet, this game can be unfun with pausing in the middle of songs because the song audio and chart files are streamed from the epic servers instead of being directly on my console. Maybe add an option to NOT stream the song and chart files, instead being able to download them?

We know the results of the 2025 Baseball Hall of Fame ballot. Ichiro was voted in nearly unanimously plus Billy Wagner got in on his final year of eligibility.
Then, there's CC. I'm a Yankees fan saying this, but I questioned if he deserved to get in on his first ballot.
His biggest argument was winning 250 games and having 3,000 strikeouts. However, his career ERA was notably high at 3.74.
On top of this, the 2026 newcomers are a notably weak class. I'm someone who believes that first ballot status should be reserved for more elite players such as Ichiro.
What do you think? Did CC deserve first ballot status or should he have had to wait at least one more year?

Hi all,
I was recently baptized as a member of our beautiful church a few weeks ago, and am now proudly living the life of the gospel. I have been to temple, I’m active in my ward, and I love every minute of it.
I spent an extra month prior to baptism working on repentance for my sins, as I have been grappling with my worthiness once I realized how significant the law of chastity is (i didn’t grow up in any faith, and had relations with men before marriage). i have obeyed the law of chastity since i found out about it, and i have repented over and over again, but i still find this seed in my head that makes me feel so guilty for it.
i’m wondering if this is justified? do i need to forfeit my recommend? i’ve been praying and praying and searching the scriptures for answers, and by all means i feel like i truly have reconciled and know that when i got baptized i was able to release many transgressions, but i just feel like i’m missing something. does God truly forgive all sins before baptism once you’ve made that covenant?

Hi everyone, I’m looking for advice regarding an issue I’m facing with a company here in Australia. Here’s the situation:
I needed to arrange a prescription for a medication that requires an appointment with a psychiatrist. I contacted this company, and they informed me that I would need to undergo an assessment before I could get the prescription.
To secure the process, I paid a deposit of $950, but I never received an appointment. When I tried to request a refund, I was told I couldn’t get my money back because I don’t have an Australian bank account. This is confusing because I understand that refunds can be made to overseas clients.
I still need the prescription and would consider proceeding with the appointment, but I’m concerned that if I pay more money, I may not actually get the appointment or the help I need.
Has anyone else had a similar experience or have advice on how to proceed?

 | So... I have got a bizarre idea to try acrylic powder for some 3D nail art. Monomer way does not impress me much, the smell of an "odorless" thing is still horrible, cures too quick for my pace. I mixed AP with a clear builder gel and inks... and.... oh well. I did a Cinnamoroll. Pros : no smell, customizable in color, can replace carving gels to some point, can be shaped for as long as you like until cured in a LED/UV lamp.
