I’m so threatened by other people’s confidence and happiness
I wish everyone could be less confident or less happy than me. I just feel so threatened if anyone is doing even just the slightest bit better than me and nothing is ever enough for me so the feeling never goes away.
I don’t know how to build my self worth and be proud of myself and feel like I can stand amongst other people without having to tear them down. It feels like I will lose control and lose all my self worth if someone close to me is happy. Please let me know if you have any advice for dealing with the discomfort of seeing others thrive

I decided to collect more for the original Game Boy recently. My NES collection was up to 123 games but I decided to focus a bit more time on Game Boy. Got 32 games now so far. The only ones I'll replace are Wizards and Warriors X since the cart is in bad shape and Toy Story since it doesn't work anymore. Other than that they're all in pretty incredible condition and I'm pretty happy with the collection's growth and quality.

Hi all, I'd like to transfer some souls and two LKGS over to a Faith build (SL 60).
My highest upgraded weapon on this character is +7 and it's a Heavy LKGS (for whatever reason). I'd like to upgrade a Blessed LKGS and have a spare to experiment with a sharp LKGS if I ever swap my build to dex. I can mule 2 LKGS from my main or if someone could drop one and/or the other at +7 that would be very much appreciated.

Because couple weeks ago, I stumbled up on a conversation that said Brandon H Lee (the actor who played kwon)accidentally kicked Mary Mouser in the brawl fight when he was supposed to kick the stunt double.But anyway someone said in that same Reddit discussion that Mary made black belt and she said this in an interview before part2 of season six. And then I tried to search it up on YouTube, but I couldn't find anything so I am here wondering if that person was lying or is it needing to get more clarification does anyone know any information about this?

Don’t get me wrong, I’m excited there has been an influx of new players to a game I love dearly. Been playing since its release on console and have switched to playing on PC via Xbox app.
But the amount of those who are unwilling to learn the true mechanics and strategy behind the game is tiring:
- Level 8 SLs who don’t know what they’re doing.
- Two riflemen grabbing a supply truck and driving it beyond the point of attack.
- No one taking command, which forces me into taking it (an often frustrating endeavor due to my first point).
- New blueberries spamming chat with vitriol when you try to share knowledge.
- Not a ghost of a person staying on defense.
Thanks for listening. Drop those OPs, build your nodes, and if there’s a pixel moving around in a bush - mag dump it.

I’m an IC in tech. I had a really shitty situation that’s turned political internally. Multi-department one. I strongly disagree why I’m being written up with factual documentation and screenshots but I guess it’s too late? I’m being given non-negotiable learnings as an additional punishment.
I feel as though my manager doesn’t know the full story and won’t listen to me. I escalated to their boss to learn how do I give the feedback in a non defensive but constructive way?
The reasons for going to her boss was, I wanted to know how do I give feedback of no. You’re wrong. Here’s why. Obviously. I regret this decision because I was sternly basically told the same thing by her boss.
I obviously feel terrible. Called out and no one I can go to. So my question to other managers are, how do I know if they really do or do not value feedback and I just need to take the required stuff that isn’t really necessary?

Seriously looking for advice on this situation, discover was my first credit card and after a year of on time payments closed my account for seemingly no reason. Weirdly my credit report shows it closed in July of 2023 even though I was in good standing making payments until October of 2023. Discover turned off my auto pay and cancelled subscription to e statements so I was unaware it was becoming late. ( I had the card on autopay with a balance and didn’t use it ) All emails communicating this were sent to spam and when I tried to login to the app to confirm this they have canceled my online account. Since discover not only canceled my auto pay and e statements without my request or permission. And than did not adequately notify me of such a big thing. What can I do???
I have called them and asked them to reverse this as it is no fault of my own and they say that they don’t re open accounts or remove late payments at all

2025.01.22 01:00 Eastcoastpal The reason Fox News is so affective in their spreading their news to the mass is their affective use of the lower tv summary banner on their TV screen. And their affective use of understanding their viewers are not standing direct of the TV nor have access to the audio. MSNBC news does not.
I don’t watch cable news. But I am at the gym today and I have 3 Fox News on the TV. I turned one tv to MSNBC and I notice two very big difference. Fox uses the lower TV summary banner to summarize the point they want their viewers to take away. they refresh that banner to which ever topic is being discussed to get their “outrage” thru. Their bullet points on the screen are not crowded. Two points per screen as opposed to MSNBC with 10 power point bullet points. MSNBC do better. Take a few strategies from Fox News production.
