Hi everyone! I've been working on a self-sustaining ecosystem for the last couple of weeks and would like some feedback. the two stars in this ecosystem are green anoles and vampire crabs. Will this paludarium be sustainable in the long term with minimal human intervention (after it matures)? Do you have any recommendations? If so, please tell me!

I would prefer if the meat was grass-fed but the gluten free bread is biggest concern.

2025.01.22 00:57 Lifeinajug Razer Core X issues solved

Greetings. I was having issues with my UM690S recognizing the Razer Core and thought I'd share some info here as I didn't find anything really useful on reddit or egpu.io. I'm running:

I was having issues where my initial install of the eGPU worked great, but on subsequent boots (with the eGPU powered on) the PC/eGPU wouldn't recognize each other and the eGPU wasn't sending power to the GPU (it needs to be recognized by the PC to initialize). I figured out that if the PC was powered off entirely (disconnected from power source) then everything would initialize and work. I imagine it's the new security protocols with Windows 11 and the bios requirements, but if anyone has ideas why this is happening I'd love to know. It works... just wish I didn't have to have to go through the power cycle each time.

Does this happen to anyone else? My ping will spike to 600+ randomly. Usually I'm holding a direction so my character walks off and dies, which is super annoying. Any fix?

Had a tub/tile installed. This used to just be a wall with a corner trim over it, tile is too thick for that now to work. Any suggestions? Can I fill it with mud in layers until relatively even? It's wider at the top than the bottom.

ME[29M] and my girlfriend [26F] have been together for a year, she was from a failed relationship because her ex[26M] cheated. she's been trying really hard to heal and get over her trauma but we've been generally okay and geniunely in love and happy for the time that we're together and we already made a plan for our future like getting married and starting a family, we see each other every weekends. last year she went to Australia for a family visit, she'll be there for 3 months. after the first month, she started becoming distant, she said she was just trying to maximize the time spent for her family and I understand that. then after a couple more weeks she started pulling back, our conversations became dry, she's not showing any affection, when we're in a video call she's always silent and doesn't want to talk. one night we talked, she said she was now unsure of our relationship, she's unsure if she wants to continue with me. she said her trauma is being triggered and she doesn't want to be in a relationship. she's not sure if she's doing the right thing by letting me stay. we haven't talk or communicated for almost a week before that night, i mean i was still trying to contact her and update her but she wasn't responsive. I'm having this confusion on how can we still make this work. she still has a month before she goes back home where i can finally meet her again and probably talk. I want to make this work but I'm having a problem understanding why she suddenly pulls back and became distant.

My airlift 3p kit came with the standard single Viair 444c compressor. I need to replace it since it is no longer working very well. Do I need to go with Viair for the replacement or can I get one like this I found on Amazon?

Jag är mest intresserad av fysiska tjänster och att vara i naturen och hade därmed väldigt gärna velat ta del av en befattning som utgår på just det nu när mönstring och grundutbildningen närmar sig. Jag undrar dock om det finns (stor) risk för att bli tilldelad en befattning/roll som man absolut inte har preliminärt önskat eller inte påstår sig vara intresserad av, eller om man då istället placeras i reserven?
Exempelvis hade tjänsten som kock inte intresserat mig; både då jag är kass på matlagning men också då det är ett alltför overksamt yrke i mitt tycke (fysiskt (har dock full respekt till alla er kockar där ute!). En sådan tjänst är väl det jag är mest "rädd" över att få tilldelat då jag inte är säker på att jag kommer klara kraven för syntesterna och lär inte direkt vara i topp-1% i styrkeaspekten.

I got a Email from Amazon saying my packages were delivered and this is the photo the Amazon driver emailed me. The photo shows that he left my packages outside, in front of the Amazon Lockers in my apartment complex instead of putting them in the lockers and he did not deliver them to my front door. I did not see the Email until 1 hour after he sent it. I was worried that my packages could have been stolen since I live in a large apartment complex & 1 hour had passed. I ran to the lockers and saw an Amazon driver and my packages on the ground. I asked if he could hand me my packages but he ignored me and kept waving his hand at me to say No while he was talking on his cellphone. I used my flashlight and saw my name on the packages and picked up all 3 Very Heavy packages that in Total, weighed 45 LBs of liquids and lugged them about a 1,000 Feet back to my apartment. This was very upsetting because he could have just delivered them later than the time promised ,to my front door if there were no more room in the lockers. Someone could have stolen them and then I would have had to go through the Long Time & Hassle to report Stolen packages. The Amazon driver later sent 2 more emails saying it was delivered to my front door but when I went to Amazon’s website it still shows a picture of my 3 HEAVY Packages ABANDONED and LEFT OUTSIDE the Amazon Lockers Really FAR AWAY from my apartment. So upsetting!
