They won’t give you the response you desire or maybe in my case one at all. Currently wanting to crawl into a hole because I keep trying to force a connection I thought I had with an online friend. For a brief period they interacted with practically everything I posted. I hate how just trying to be nice comes back to only lower my self esteem. I just don’t get why a person can be so talkative at first and then act bothered that you want to be their friend. 💔 Aren’t we all just seeking community and acceptance in the end? What’s so wrong with wanting to have a connection with someone and feel liked? Why do we seek out people who obviously aren’t healthy for us mentally and emotionally?

Had a huge falling out with my parents over the summer and I've been VLC since. I flat out told my father I expect an apology from my mother for her silent treatment and saying having to talk to me is making her toe my line so she can see my son, among a thousand other shitty things both of them have said and done. Of course that's never come and never will.
My brothers stay away as much as they can and I just don't bother anymore, but my mother is apparently changing tactics because for the first time in the 20+ years we've been adults, she's started group texting us (Merry Christmas, happy New Year, hey we love a game night we want to do it Saturday can you all come, etc.). I will forever respond that we have plans, (which isn't a lie, we typically are busy every weekend) but I won't say "sorry we can't make it", just "we have plans thanks for the invite."
Why TF do they think they can just act like everything is great and we're a happy family and nothing ever happened? I'm not going to keep asking for an apology I'll never get, especially because they made it clear they're done talking about "these things".

Just sell the cards now, even if it means losing money. Showing off AMD cards is a great way to market them today, proving that nVidia isn't all that compared to AMD. People can get a really good GPU at a decent price.
This will get more people talking about AMD, using AMD GPUs, and break that nVidia bias you see in places like [/r](tg://bot_command?command=r)[/pcmasterrace](tg://bot_command?command=pcmasterrace).
Even if the cards were the same, people would just choose nVidia without reason. So, maybe it's worth spending some money now to grab market share and sell more in the future.
It should be considered an investment, so that then next release is not a shitshow.

Our community is built around a vast experience of the core members in intentional community and has a central art business that has been helping us independently raise funds.
We've been very carefully to be incredibly selective who we bring on to the land acquisition and where we source money.
We see people's investments and commitments of time and money and intention as something that often come with an un-spoken promise. If you were there from day one or if you contributed finances, shouldn't you get your way? So often, our core group has been invited to land or had funding partners that went in vastly different directions and weren't interested in deep collaborations.
We've been part of projects we've developed only be told the land own decided to "go a different direction" once the land was developed. We've been told that the person who contributed a handful of thousands of dollars thinks they get special privileges.
We are not eager to recreate a broken system where we exploit others who live with us. Nor are we interested in people with little experience and interest in collectivism buying their way into community leadership.
That said, we have deep concerns about direction of the world and are discussing ways to expedite funding-raising.
We had been looking at picking up 40-some acres in a secluded place in the PNW. It's expensive out here, and we think we could just barely cover the costs to get the bare minimum to satisfy a loan, sustain people, and run our collective business. A well, electrical systems, and the most minimum of dwellings and workshops.
I'm hoping to discuss with others who have space in the Willamette Valley / Puget-Willamette Low Lands / Cascades region of Oregon & Washington or people who have significant contributions and community experience that would want to join a team of artists and makers in land acquisition.
We've got a pretty solid values and vision. we had wanted something very clear and easy to invite other to once we had better defined space to invite people to. But, we're really hoping to get going on this and it's not entirely unlikely that there's someone with compatible vision and resources.
Please discuss interests and projects and generally feel free to contribute toward the discussion of PNW community.

Hey guys looking for some advice or ideas. So where I work we have a golf simulator. For the set up we have a full-sized tower running a small 20” touch screen monitor (hdmi) and a projector(also hdmi) About 10ft away is a storage closet we would like to move the desktop into and have the monitor permanently affixed to the wall instead of the shelf we have now. For the projector I’m planning on running a fiber hdmi cable to. My question comes down to what can I do for the touch screen monitor? Originally I anticipated on using an hdmi and usb to CAT kvm converter and running it that way But I was curious to know if anyone had any other suggestions or experiences, such as miracast?
