2025.01.22 01:18 husbvnrbj I want to leave my job as I’ve been feeling depressed but I have no idea how to go about it
Hi Reddit, I’ve spoken to some family members about this but they aren’t exactly able to offer advice and I’m really struggling with this.
So I started this job about 3 months ago (I requested it from my boss where I was working on Saturdays only previously for about 1.5 years) it is my first job working almost full time which may be part of while I’m struggling on what to do.
when I first started one of the managers was really hard on me and always changing the rules of the job getting frustrated when I (or the other new staff) didn’t get it right despite not knowing the new rules - he has stopped getting so frustrated but now it seems like it’s almost impossible to take any time off except months in advance and any time I’ve attempted to take a day off sick (twice including half a day today) they say that everyone else is just working through it and sacrificing for the branch.
Im so sorry I may be rambling but the main issue is that the job involves standing for 9 hours a day (which I didn’t realise before) and it’s caused quite severe joint pain as I’m hyper mobile although previous to this I’ve been fine almost all of the time.
I feel so lost and trapped as there’s sort of this atmosphere where they say it’s like a family and I feel as if I’m letting them down if i leave, and I feel so guilty as my boss gave me this job without an interview and I feel almost like I owe her something I guess? But it’s gotten to the point I dread going in because I’m in pain all the day and I’ve started speaking to someone about feeling low?? Almost all the time as I feel like my whole life has become/ revolves around this job.
I’m not sure how to leave or what to say or go about this but I really can’t go back I think?
I really appreciate anyone reading this or offering any advice at all I’m just really lost on what to do.

I'm a House/Tech house producer who is grinding atm. I've been dealing with music the last 5 years but recently ive been taking it alot more seriously. Howdy ya'll,
I'm making a PC for a 14 year old kid that lives on the corner, he's a good kid and deserves it, and I want to make a PC for him, as he really loved playing on my own PC when he is here. So.. I decided to make him his own PC so he can play the games that he loves to play on my PC.
But, just to be certain, are following components a good match for each otheno bottleneck:
- AMD Ryzen 5700X3D (he will be doing coding, but mainly games - and the 3D version is better?)
- AMD Radeon RX 7800 XT (it fits within the "maximum" budget of €500, originally I had planned for a 4060 Ti)
- 16GB of DDR4 @ 3.600MHz

But due to personal medical issues it's been a long while that I have built a brand new PC, so I'm quite "out of the loop" and not a 100% sure the components will not bottleneck/have no issues)

Currently studying to take both Level 1 and Step 1 in June and I’m trying to decide if I should buy the Comquest Qbank. I’m currently using TrueLearn (provided by institution) for Level 1 prep and UWorld for Step, I also have Amboss. Is Comquest better for Level 1? All the upperclassmen at my school say it’s more representative of COMLEX but is this true or will the other 3 suffice?

2025.01.22 01:18 WingdRat Would an infrared light work with a eufy cam's night vision?
 | I suspect there's a creature in my house, and I have a camera set with night vision enabled to try and see what it is. Unfortunately the creature is so quick, by the time the infrared has switched on on the camera, it's run away.. Would this light work to prevent the camera having to turn on it's own infrared, or would it still need it for night vision?
