2025.01.22 01:06 ExistentialPangolin Any thermostat with a better schedule control?
I’ve gone onto a 4on/4off shift consisting of 2 days and 2 nights, the shifts are 7-7.
Is there any thermostat that has better schedule control? I’m always going to working different shifts on different days since they’re running on an 8 day week so pointless setting Monday/Tuesday for days and the rest nights etc because next week it’ll all by thrown out of whack.
I live on my own so I don’t really want to just have the heating on for longer periods to compensate as it’ll be heating an empty house.
Any feedback’s appreciated, Cheers.

2025.01.22 01:06 Sunshineyr Aftermath of a sunburn... advice?
I had my back tattooed when I was twenty, and at first, it was gorgeous. I loved it. Then the next summer, I got a horrific sunburn.
A few summers later, I got text added. Final picture is today, and you can see how badly the sunburn destroyed the tattoo. The lines are blurry and blown out, and I'm wondering if I should get the tattoo colored in, covered up, I'm not sure.
I edited the photos to hide anything revealing but I'm marking this NSFW in case.
What do you all think?

 | So pushing the stick all the way forward, V will walk for a bit, then it's like he gets stuck in mud or something, then he'll speed up again, then get stuck again. - Total budget (in local currency) and country of purchase. Please do not use USD unless purchasing in the US: $400-$600 USD
- Are you open to refurbs/used? open to refurbished, but maybe not used.
- How would you prioritize form factor (ultrabook, 2-in-1, etc.), build quality, performance, and battery life? need good battery life, lots of I/O (at least 2 USB-A ports and an HDMI port), and need good speakers/sound card.
- How important is weight and thinness to you? lightweight would be a huge plus.
- Do you have a preferred screen size? If indifferent, put N/A. no larger than 15.6 inches
- Are you doing any CAD/video editing/photo editing/gaming? List which programs/games you desire to run. It is essential for me to run court reporting software. The brand of the software is Eclipse. I am still uncertain which of their softwares I will need to run. I will rarely be gaming. I'll mostly be using it for work and school.
- If you're gaming, do you have certain games you want to play? At what settings and FPS do you want? only smaller and old games occasionally (burger shop, etc.)
- Any specific requirements such as good keyboard, reliable build quality, touch-screen, finger-print reader, optical drive or good input devices (keyboard/touchpad)? Hey folks, I could really use some advice right now about accepting a job offer.
I've been unemployed for 7 months and recently was made a job offer by company A. I interview with company A over a 2 month period (holidays delayed everything) and the team was lovely. I liked my manager, they gave me an offer and I accept it and am supposed to start this Monday (in 6 days!).
I already had an interview scheduled with company B and decided to still take it even after I accept company A's offer. I was curious about the company since they are in a high growth phase. I loved the manager and she wants to move me quickly to meet with the team and the CEO because they know I have another offer (doesn't know I accepted it). They already told me they are willing to give me a sign on bonus and the compensation is 10-15 more.
What should I do? I feel like such a jerk if I back out of the job I already accepted. Both are great teams and great opportunities. Help!
