If I have a sentence that starts with additionally, finally, consequently, etc. do I always have to put a comma after it? Hi, I'm new here.
Quick BG, haven't been wise in investing in the past(have equity in a house that we rent out and a very small private pension pot), i'm now 43. From the UK but now live in Hong Kong.
Have more money coming in per month now than we have had in the past and am in the stage of trying to figure out best way to start investing the money that's coming in.
To begin with i'll be looking to invest USD$6000 a month moving fwd.
I like the philosophy of the Bogleheads "invest and don't think about it"... but of course the logistics and actually deciding the initial split, which broker and which funds to choose need to happen.
I know that there is a WEALTH of info on the forums and the web to digest, which I am in the process of doing....but because I'm looking to start my investment journey ASAP, next month, I'm trying to make decisions quickly if possible (of course I don't want to stumble the first part of my investment journey as I know it's the long game i'm playing from here...so won't make hasty decisions.)
Basically is there a "go to" combo for a person like myself to start quickly, get on the ladder, and then progressively learn more and adapt as I get more knowledgeable? OR is it a case of firmly committing to understanding the ins and outs and nuances of the whole system and only then committing my first investment?
If anyone would be willing to comment on(or link to relevant previous posts) what they would do in terms of literal first steps to setup and choose my investments/bonds based on my circumstances. i.e is "Interactive Brokers" the place for me to use given my location and needs etc...`
Thanks (and I know a lot of people may just say "go read the forums" and if that truly is my best option to get going, then for sure I'll just continue, but wanted to see if there was a quick leg up I could get and then continue the journey with less FOMO swimming around my brain)

Hello. I have a question, this applies for warranty, right? I bought this mouse 1 month ago, on December 2024. Been using it since today. But today when i disconnected the Wireless Dongle from the Wireless Extender it broke apart. Like the photos. The white casing of the wireless dongle broke, both on the top and bottom parts, and the black section of the dongle has shifted out of place. You can see in the photos that a little piece of the white casing is left on the dongle, and the dongle is out of place. I didn't hit it, nor mistreated it, just unplugged it from the extensor like i always did with no issues before. It should not break like this, right? I mean it's an expensive mice, atleast on my country. I only bought it 1 month ago. Thank you all.

I've been playing for a couple days, but online my opponent can throw 1000 punches and their stamina goes down 5-10% at the end of round 1 im down to half the bar throwing half the strikes and landing almost all of them. What am i doing wrong? It happens more in the ranked matches than the online career.

I have been dealing with this for a month and can't find anything. I'm 35 so gca isn't common but I'm starting feel like it's that. When I'm active or get reallt hot. My right side superficial vein artery pulsates from my ear up side my forhead and behind my ear to back my head. I can feel it and sense it without touch. Last night it was so bad it was hurting and felt like dull burning. I lasp have spasms both sides my cheeks not sure if it's muscle or not. I am huge jaw clenched. All my vlood test and mri are good. But my ananuclear was positive 1:640 and speckled blood. Someone please help.

Type s car jumper starter issue Hi all Need help in understanding battery issue. I drive 2018 ford focus sedan . Last week cause of cold battery was not working. I bought type s jump starter from Costco and used it. It worked . This week car not starting coz of battery, seems completely dead. I thought of using the jump starter but it just flashes red light and beeps. According to Manual it’s either connection issue or car jump start is done. But I connected correctly following the instructions.
What I observe is the cable is not of copper or seems upper layer is gone. Attached images.
Anyone can help fix . Thanks
