I (24m) live in PA have a 2 year old English red lab that I inherited from my parents when he was 8 months old, he is now 2. For the past three days he has been shaking his head A LOT. i thought he just had a bug bite or some snow in his ear cause he would do it when we were out on walks or right after the walk. Then last night he started to scratch and cry when he scratched it so I looked at it and it had brown clumps in his ear and smelled bad so I looked it up and it seemed like a yeast ear infection so I purchased some droplet stuff from amazon which will be here tomorrow; But when I looked at his ear tonight its almost completely swollen. He doesnt seem bothered by it other than the shaking of the head and scratching, but I am living paycheck to paycheck and dont have the money or insurance to take him to a vet. Please any advice is helpful as I am very worried about him.

Hi there! I'm thinking about in any alternative to host database for personal projects. I was thinking in: Turso DB, redis, Firebase, Supabase, but I don't know how Is entity framework integration.

Supabase use a postgreSQL db, but I don't know about entry framework integration.

2025.01.22 01:22 praise_simplicity AIO for finally deciding to end my relationship with my grandmother?
 | (Sorry in advance for a lot of text) For some backstory: I (22F) have always been very close with my grandmother. She practically raised me. But she has always been against any sort of LGBTQIA people or ideals, saying that it is unnatural and against the Bible. I discovered that I liked girls at 12 years old, and she did not take this very well. She would always dismiss it, tell me it was a phase that I would grow out of, and express constant disappointment. Fast forward to 10 years later, I have a trans partner. We have been together for 2 years, and have known each other for 7 years. For the first year of our relationship, my grandma had no idea that my partner is trans (but she did know her before her transition). I did not want to face the argument. But eventually, I went to see her and finally got to "break the news." She was disappointed but polite. Over the next few months, she seemed to make headway with accepting me as a lesbian and my partner as a trans woman, with some comments here and there still about how it isn't natural but that she loves us. My grandma has two children, my mom and my uncle M. Uncle M is a very serious alcoholic due to trauma from his abusive father (my grandma's husband) and has been since his teen years. He mistreated my cousin, C, and her mother (his wife), for about twenty years until they both decided to leave him. Them leaving, however, is seen by my grandma as a betrayal and an abandonment of my uncle M. Because of this, she began to treat my cousin C very differently, arguing with her and sometimes outright ignoring her, even at family gatherings, while always having some nasty things to say when cousin C and her mom weren't around (which she conveniently forgets she said when called out on it). I finally got involved and told her off because her treatment of cousin C was really frustrating, as well as her defending uncle M. I'm not against her for defending her son, but I am against her making excuses for his behavior and babying him. Thanksgiving rolls around and my grandma's relationship with cousin C hasn't been the same since. My partner and I spent Thanksgiving with Uncle M, cousin C, and cousin C's mom. Grandma did not make an appearance. We went to Grandma's house afterward to bring her some food and to hang out so she wouldn't be alone. It goes very well for a few hours, but as we're about to leave, politics gets brought into it. Immediately, I want to just leave, but my grandma had very nasty opinions and made sure we heard them. We tried to correct her on some of the things she was flat out wrong about and tell her some of the things her chosen politician said. She refused to believe said politician said these things (specifically about LGBTQIA people and women) simply because she didn't hear politician say these things, then said we were lying, but that said politician is right to have these views and the country will be better for it. She proceeds to say that trans people are predators only out to assault and kidnap children (in front of my trans girlfriend), that they're dangerous to the Biblical, American way of life, and that they shouldn't be allowed to use the bathroom because it's dangerous for children. I then brought up the concept of "why aren't you in the bathroom with your children if you're so scared of dangerous people in the bathrooms?" then told her that a predator will not go through transition just to get to children. I then asked her if she thinks Jesus loves my partner even though she's trans, and my grandma said "I think he wants him to change," which was enough of a comment for me even without the misgendering. For years, any time my grandma has said things like this, I always put my head down and let her. "She's old and entitled to her opinion," I was always told, and so I left it be. But the older I get, the more I realize I don't want people in my life that don't support me and the person I love 100%. I don't think someone should be entitled to act the way my grandmother does simply because of the way they were raised. In that case, I should act just like my grandma. Anyways, she goes on to insult Mexicans, say they shouldn't be in this country (not knowing my girlfriend was born in Mexico, so that was fun to tell her), and that they deserve all the bad things happening to them, that said politician will turn America back into "God's country," etc, etc, then begged us not to hate her over and over because she knew we were very upset. She has always been very bad at playing the victim even when she is wrong, and she always preaches the love of God without acting with said love. We left shortly after that, didn't speak to her until Christmas day that was just to say Merry Christmas. My relationship with her, and my cousin C's relationship with her has been strained ever since, and I have had difficulty wanting to speak with her. I decided to text her today to tell her these things, which are the texts above. I finally stood up for myself, and she took it very very badly. The "I'm sorry you feel..." comments are all you'd need to see really. I got in a hit and run accident on Thursday night. We're dropping it off tomorrow morning for repairs. Its pretty bad, tire rubbing on bumper, exhaust pushed up. Gonna miss my car. Been driving our other car, a Tesla, around and it sucks compared. The Tesla is almost like driving a go cart which is fun for exactly 1 minute then I rather have the comfortable suv feel.

Not sure if this the right place to post but here goes: I have semi recently separated from my wife (almost 2 years ago) We are still amicable and on really good terms. We have a PPOR house together in which we decided that I am going to buy her out of her share (50%) I have a new partner who is keen to buy in as tenants in common 25% so I will jump up to 75% ownership. My question is how do I go about refinancing and transferring title with regards to stamp duty exemption? Obviously there is an exemption for my ex but I have been with my new partner for well over 1 year so pretty much defacto now so I am assuming she is also exempt? Not sure if we can do it as one title transfer or do I have to do it as 2 separate transfers to qualify for stamp duty exemption? Thanks
