hey everyone, new to the sub. it might be just me but I had a great first semester and didnât miss home as much. made great friends, went out, had a great social life, even got all Aâs, and I got a job. but now, with 2nd semester starting it feels so weird. like everything feels off?
i came back yesterday around 4 and the entire car ride to college i felt really iffy about it. i dont know why but i started to get really homesick and just started to miss home. my momâs cooking, my siblings, my dad there for me. iâve just felt really overwhelmed and everytime i think about home i miss it. on top of that my 12 year old brother texts me âthe house feels so empty without youâ and it just made me incredibly sad.
is this normal? is 2nd semester always a difficult time? how come i feel like the workload just got 10 times harder too. i just wanna make sure im not the only one feeling this. iâve even thought about transferring a couple times today and i know i am overthinking and overreacting about it, but i just donât know. is it supposed to be hard? i never felt this way first semester, but as soon as i get a long extended break i just started missing it.
