2025.01.22 05:14 cannonman58102 With the fluid nature of time and the existence of time travel (uncontrollably) in 40K, have there been instances in lore of characters existing in more than one form at the same time?
So we know going back in time is possible in 40K, though not in any controllable way. Ravenor goes back in time, there are several excerpts of ships emerging hundreds of years before the entered the warp, etc.
I've been searching to see if I can find any examples of multiple versions of a creature or object existing at the same time.
An example might be a ship translates into the warp and appears at its destination 3 weeks prior to leaving. That means in Universe that ship and its crew exist in two places at the same time.
Anyone know of any? Usually going back in time means going far back in time, but I'm toying with a character concept of a chaos cult being investigated by the Ordo Chronos for a tabletop campaign.

Hi everyone! I was wondering if anyone could give me any insight into applying into dermatology after finishing an internal medicine residency?
In med school, I’ve always had been between derm and internal medicine, but even after not matching derm (probably due to low board scores 😞step 2: sub 220), then pursuing internal medicine, I still come back to wanting to practice dermatology even with the derm electives I’ve had in residency.
What are some ways to navigate this process - should I take a research year after IM? Finding mentors and people who can vouch for me? Etc. Anything helps.

 | Decided to tinker with the mango creami I made a couple of weeks ago for a raspberry version. Straight into the container went: * Approximately 2 cups of frozen raspberries * 1 small container of Siggis raspberry skyr yogurt * 1/3ish cup cottage cheese * 2% milk until the raspberries are submerged I let it sit and soften enough to blend with my immersion blender, then froze Mixed twice on sorbet (retrospect, I think frozen yogurt may have worked better — I did add a little bit of cream between the spins). Meanwhile, I combined dark chocolate chips and coconut oil at a 2:1 chocolate:oil ratio in the microwave in 30 second intervals until melted. Once the spin was done, I scooped a hole in the middle, and drizzled the melted mixture into the hole and on top and then turned on the mix in feature. The coconut oil and chocolate mix hardens on contact with cold, so the mixing created the PERFECT teeny tiny chips throughout. Honestly, I always tinker, but it won’t be much. I am a Barrister, Solicitor, and Notary Public in the Province of Ontario, Canada. My area of practice is Family Law, which includes divorce and child protection law.
I operate my law practice with a shared office building with other lawyers who have never experienced this issue. I commenced business on January 25, 2024, up to the present.
On December 27, 2024, Google suspended my account without warning. To date, I have no idea what policy I'm violating. I appealed the decision, explaining that I was a lawyer working in an office space I rent and am licensed to practice law in the province of Ontario. I provided a screenshot, and four business days later, it came back stating that it was denied. No reasons for the decisions were provided.
On January 11, 2025, I submitted another appeal, this time with a Statutory Declaration that I signed and had sworn that I attest that I am operating a solo practice and provided a letter from my landlord, my law insurance slip, and the fact that I am on a Legal Aid Ontario website with the address and my Canada Revenue Agency business number.
The Law Society of Ontario does not request a registration for a lawyer's business as long as they use their full name. I do. I have not heard from Google and am concerned that I may not have the right to appeal twice. There's no person to reach out to or to email. I have also attached the Google appeal I submitted.
Please advise. This is incredibly infuriating.

2025.01.22 05:14 NukFloorboard need some help regarding specialist trainers
I know these kinds of posts are not normally allowed, but I need industry experts to guide me, I guess, to the right specialists. And so this isn’t a wall of text, I’ll keep it as short as I can.
Basically, I had a type of cancer that makes you gain a lot of weight. I ended up at 330 pounds before the tumor was finally removed. For metabolic reasons, it’s been medically recommended that I bodybuild for 12 months.
The thing is, I’m not a layperson. I was in the military for over a decade, and I’m quite muscular; I just have a lot of fat on me from the cancer. Personal trainers aren’t sure how to help me.
In some cases, I’m lifting more than they are, my form’s perfect, and I’ve usually heard of any exercise they throw at me.
So, this obviously begs the question: "Why am I seeking a personal trainer then?" I don’t know how to exercise safely or effectively with all this fat in the way. Everything’s kind of upside down and back to front.
As I said, my form’s perfect, but the wrong muscles are being worked. Like, a chest fly is working my triceps, or a row is working my biceps. There’s something about my frame, or fat, or something else that’s just changed how my body is physically working. This can lead to pretty nasty injuries if I’m not careful.
I’ve had three personal trainers decline me after 2-3 sessions, stating I can’t be taught much, but they can write 8-week workout plans to keep me focused. They can’t help much more than that. They can’t really work out what’s going on and have admitted it’s a bit beyond their expertise.
So, where do I go from here? Do I need to talk to a sports science centre, or seek out an exercise physiologist?
Any advice would help me out. Cheers.
