I found out I really don't have a life outside uni like no hangouts no genuine friends no nothing. I got one month before starting new semester, I mean I'm 2nd year rn but I'm literally dying I can't stay like this I'm losing my shit.
Anyone knows activities to do or places to go and meet people? Idfk anything

2025.01.22 08:10 Sinsinbro AITAH for buying my teacher bread?
I (F18) bought my teacher (M maybe 40 MAX) an onion sandwich. Me as a student, have my wishes. I was hungry and went out to the backery to get me something to chew on, as I asked my teacher for permission to go he asked me to buy him something to digest too. He only told me to get something eggless(understandable) and vegetarian; no problem there I respect and tolerate vegetarians.
Now.. There was only a sandwich called "onion sandwich" and I thought it would be perfect, FYI the onion was only IN the bread! And he also likes cheese and cucumber which was in the sandwich RIGHT. yes. Exactly.
Now.. His reaction was worse that anybody would ever expect, he was mad and sad, I even returned him the exchange PLUS 10 CENTS!!! He THREATENED to spit in his sandwich, in front of his colleagues..
Now... To everyone's surprise, he liked it.
Am I the asshole? Should I end it?

This coming Friday I will be 2 weeks alcohol free, the best of done in over 3 years of hard daily drinking, and almost 10 years of "casual" drinking. The only tips I can give so far is find some will to live, keep busy. And must of all for what helps me is cases and cases of bubblys. Look forward to staying the course but only time will tell.

2025.01.22 08:10 Sufficient-Tree-7733 TIFU by accidentally impressing my boss and changing how we do things at work
So, this happened a while back when I was working as a stock clerk at a grocery store. It was one of those jobs where you’re just trying to get through the day without making waves, but somehow, I managed to make some anyway.
One of my tasks was restocking the milk cooler. Normally, everyone would grab these heavy 12-packs of milk cartons, rip them open, and then load the cartons into the cooler one by one. It was tedious and honestly kind of exhausting. On my first day doing this task, I thought there had to be an easier way because it felt like such a waste of time and energy.
So instead of following what everyone else did, I decided to try something different. I slid the entire 12-pack into the cooler without opening it first. Then, using my box cutter, I carefully sliced open just one side of the plastic wrapping and pulled it out from underneath the cartons in one smooth motion. Boom—done in seconds! No heavy lifting or unnecessary steps.
Apparently, my boss had been watching me because when I turned around, he looked completely stunned. He called over another coworker to show them what I’d done. From that day on, everyone started using “my” method for stocking milk. It became the new standard procedure.
While it felt good to make things easier for everyone (and low-key impress my boss), I also felt super awkward about all the attention it brought me. All I wanted was to get through my shift quietly! Now every time someone stocks milk that way, they jokingly call it “the genius move.” Honestly? It still makes me cringe a little.
TL;DR: Tried an easier way to stock milk at work on my first day and accidentally impressed my boss so much that they changed how we do things forever.

 | Hello, may e tatanong lang sana regarding this pldt issues na eexperience ko ngayon. Lumipat kasi kami ng bahay at naiwan namin pldt don sa unang bahay namin. Hindi naman kalayuan same address lng din pero Hindi rin aabot yung signal. Yun nga non simultaneous transfer pinili for for request sana for relocation. Sad to say po, supposed to be January 13 po yung date for relocation po pero wala pong dumating na technician from pldt po. Thats is why nag inquire ako through pldt cares, i asked kung ano update sa request ko for relocation. Sa website po pala ako nag request ng relocation una. Yun po sa pangalawa nag hintay ako 5 days and this day is wala din po dumating from pldt. Tumawag and nag inquire sana ako update pero hindi nadin daw available tung telephone tsaka account number ko. No idea po sa kong anong nagyayari po sa pldt relocation nato.
