Hi. Guess my type for fun, based on purely random photos in my camera roll! I’m not sure what to put here, I consider myself an ambivert and I have a hard time staying in one place since I find everything interesting. I’d consider myself an ambivert!
I like plants, tea and cats a lot, but not enough to get a tattoo of any of em. I wanna try everything at least once and I’m always open to an adventure. People say I’m emotionally mature and I enjoy hearing various viewpoints to help me make well rounded decisions. I’m not afraid of advocating for my own needs and standing up for what I believe in, even if it’s scary. I have a deep love for the world around me and empathy, the world would be better if we took the time to understand one another. I believe in do no harm but take no shit!
My likes are LOTR, TES (basically anything fantasy), drawing, discussing things online, trying new things, staring a million hobbies and never finishing them :)

My fiancé and I have an epic relationship. I’ve never had any reason to distrust her at all.
She recently went to a bachelorette party in Spain. Strippers, partying, the whole nine. Doesn’t bug me! I just ask her to text me to let me know she’s home safe.
While there, she told me a funny story about multiple girls doing a drug that rhymes with snowkane and asking her to keep a secret. It is humorous. Multiple girls all doing the same thing worried about judgment from everyone else. My fiancé was the confidant apparently.
Months later, we’re at this wedding and while tipsy at dinner, it slips out somehow she too did snowkane on that trip. I found this very strange. I wouldn’t have cared but neither of us do drugs really so it was odd she never mentioned it. Particularly when she was telling me about others doing it.
She then appeared like she was backpeddling and said “I told them I’d try it first to make sure it wasn’t poisonous”
Like she’s the first spin on Russian Roulette? That makes no fucking sense.
She claims it was a joke and to be fair, she may have been joking and I was startled and didn’t pick up on the humour. But I don’t know.
Then she appeared to backpedal once more and said she only did one bump. This isn’t typically a drug most people do “once” during an evening if it’s available. This too wasn’t realistic.
Anyways, for the first time, it appeared like my fiancé wasn't being truthful to me and my world started spinning. When you’ve always had 100% trust for someone and suddenly they seem like they’re hiding something - at a bachelorette party of all places - it sends you for a loop.
Is this the big moment I find out she has a skeleton in the closet? I’ve never once remotely suspected she’d be unfaithful but you can’t help but wonder.
I excused myself from the table nicely to not make a scene, went for a little walk to calm down, then texted her asking if she could come outside and clear this up quick.
I was hoping for nothing more than
I didn’t want you to judge me I didn’t want you to worry I didn’t want a lecture about drug safety Ah! I forgot to tell you. I get why that would have seemed strange. Trust me it wasn’t a big deal.
Simple reassurance would’ve been good enough for me.
Instead she immediately blew up on me, as if I was starting drama at her best friend’s wedding over nothing and how dare I not trust her when she’s never given me a reason to distrust her.
I understand feeling accused when you’re not guilty of anything is frustrating but when the optics are this strange, I believe most should be willing to clarify.
She refutes there is anything weird about this. “There was so many fun stories from that weekend, so many more interesting things to talk about, it’s pointless, I didn’t think it was a story worth mentioning, etc”
I’d say “Yeah but when you literally told me stories about other people secretly doing drugs, would it not be natural to say you too did drugs?”
Eventually I dropped it to ensure her night wasn’t ruined and went back in, and we had a pleasant evening partying until 3am.
The next day I wanted us to meet each other halfway. I validated her experience. I hate that I created a bad memory on a special night for her. I know I’d feel defensive about undeserved accusations. I get that.
At the same time, I did not want the narrative to be that I was some irrational emotionally insecure idiot. I believe my response was completely reasonable. Anyone with two brain cells would feel like they were being strung a line of BS in that moment.
I also don’t think I did anything wrong by nicely excusing myself and asking her to clear it up quick.
Unfortunately, she blew up on me and so THEN it became a fight then went on for an hour that night rather than it just being resolved promptly
Today, she says:
I was wrong to bring it up that night. I should’ve slapped on a smile and addressed weeks later after we flew home. She won’t meet me halfway to say “I understand why you felt unsettled in that moment”. In her mind, any skepticism I had is unfounded.
She’s forcing me to eat 100% of the blame for this fight rather than us both saying we acted reasonably based on our experience at the time.
Am I the asshole?

Hi! After several months, I want to finally dive into the shrimp keeping hobby with some neos. Thinking of a 10 gallon planted with low-tech plants, moss, floaters, and sand, to keep it easy.
Before I bought any equipment though, I wanted to test my tap water out first— and the parameters came out crazy! It'd be hard for me to switch to RO or distilled water, so I'm wondering if there was any way to salvage this with treatments before I buy a tank to start setting up? Or is that too hard to figure out?
Here are my parameters-
Chlorine- 0 GH- Below 20ppm Alkalinity- About 120ppm KH- Above 300ppm PH- Around 7.8
I don't know how the local tap came out with nearly no GH but insanely high KH, and I'm worried about what would happen if I tried to start out with this. Any advice would be appreciated- I love to read up on this sub! Thanks so much!

For context: all I hear all day every day is our new neighbour screaming at her kids. We've ever really got along with her and she has an agonizingly sour personality. Our houses are roughly 20 feet apart and we can hear her piercing voice crystal clear
So I live in Canada, and as you know our houses aren't built to the best quality as the rest of the world, sound travels very far. Whenever I'm throwing at my board, there's a horrendous echo that travels throughout the whole house. My question is would my neighbour be able to hear it? I'm asking out of spite. I'm at the point where it would bring me nothing but pure joy if I know this causes her a slight annoyance in her life. It's got to the point where I know all 6 of her kids names despite never meeting them. (And yes we've already tried confronting her up her constant obnoxiously loud voice)

I got poor ratings for the second year despite I work more than 50 hours a week and deliver everything on time. I was told to set up a "catch-up" next week. I totally expect my manager will put me on PIP.
I now have around 30 days sick leave balance and about 40 days of accrued annual leave. I want to know what would best strategy for me to maximise the period during which I can find my next job. Current job market is pretty competitive.
Please correct me if I am wrong. I am thinking working on PIP plan (with my least effort since they determine to let me go anyway) for about 2 weeks, then asked for 4 weeks of mental stress leave (pending GP's medical certificate, but I am very very stressful indeed for past 2 years), and then come back for a week to see if anything changed, if not, another 2 weeks of sick leave, then I will be back to complete the PIP process. I guess I will be offered an opportunity to resign, I hope it will give me another 4 weeks as notice. All in all, I am expecting this will give me 11-15 weeks of time, plus 8 weeks of accrued annual leave, I have about 19-23 weeks to find my next job.
does it sound a good plan?
