‏السلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته ، I don’t want this to be a post were I just trauma dump but I’m genuinely seeking advice as (FM21) My father suddenly passed a way from a heart attack at home with me and our family bedside him, for someone to go from so healthy and present to gone within a few minutes has been a lot for me to process . Alhamdulilah I consider myself practicing and someone who studies the deen however, this test has made me more lazy when it comes to my Islamic duties, I stay up constantly so it makes it hard to prayer fajr on time , I stopped attending my quarn classes since I’m so behind now and I constantly scroll through social media to fill my mind from overthinking idk I feel like tests are meant to make you closer to Allah (swt) however I feel like I’ve taken steps back I’ve lacked soo much and I’m developing bad habits ik nobody’s perfect but I’m disappointed in myself. I have a good support group but idk how to get back to my normal life / change for the better I feel guilty and sad I act like I’m fine in front of everyone so I’m not a burden but truly im broken deep inside. If anyone’s been through something similar or could just make dua that this trial brings me closer to Allah I would really appreciate it

my_qualifications: 1st Year Btech Mechanical at a 3rd Gen IIT.
Hi, college fresher here, been always interested in electronics. Started exploring robotics as soon as I cleared JEE and loving every bit of it( including the failures). So, I still have an option to change my branch to ECE(which is a very new one in my college, DSAI or CSE if I work a bit harder. But I really want to build up a career in Core electronics in a reputed company ( have higher studies in mind but want Industry exposure first) I really don't want to be mass recruited to repititive technician roles and want to work on innovation and design. But as of now it seems that core electronics companies like Samsung/ Micron/ Seimens, etc hire in India for only software roles and there isn't much prospect! I'm really confused and any guidance is welcome :)
(Also, don't want to stay in Mechanical any way, got 9+ cg in 1st sem and have to change my branch)

2025.01.22 07:51 DeaduBeatu Vehicles, items, zombies, and almost everything else desynced?

So me and my buddy hopped back onto one of our old P2P servers and we're experiencing a really weird desync where it's almost like we're in two different instances. We can't see items that the other person drops, not even if we place them in containers. We can't even trade properly because we don't get the pop-up for it. The items we place in containers or drop only show up if I restart the server. Vehicles only move for the driver and the vehicle stays still for the other person regardless of if the other person is a passenger or not; the vehicle teleports to wherever the driver gets out. We're also getting stale zombies and "non-existent" zombies. For example, P1 is fighting a horde but P2 sees no zombies at all. P1 will see P2 get killed while P2 is still walking around on their own screen, but both players can hear the scream that happens when you get eaten alive. We thought that maybe this is because of some broken mod, but we experienced the same thing on a vanilla P2P server. Our ping is fine and we've never experienced anything like this at all. Just a month ago I was playing with another friend on a P2P server just fine with no problems at all and now everything is all weird. Has anyone experienced something like this?

I don't know if this happens in the Middle East often, or Jordan generally, but i am surprised that despite my family being fully Jordanian (at least as far as we are aware) my phenotype seems to be majority Nordic and i can easily pass as Scandinavian and Northern European generally. I haven't seen this happen before in the Middle East in my life at least.
My bone structure is entirely Nordic, from skull shape to jawline, ears and nose and basically everything, my hair medium-light blond (golden blonde) mix and I'm 6'1 (185) and my skin is very, very pale and my family been to Germany and the Netherlands and they said they would mistake me for a native there. All my German, Scandinavian and British friends say i look quintessentially Anglo-Saxon (Nordic subcategory) and Nordic generally. I don't have any single non-Scandinavian trait about me besides my medium brown eyes.
The second image is someone who closely resembles my phenotype in terms of skin tone, skull shape, nose and jawline, eye shape and basically kind of almost me. This post isn't meant to be a flex but i am just wondering if this ever happened before? Or could it be me inheriting random genes from one of my distant ancestors who could have been European?
