So I’m currently working on a senior project for my school and I chose to do mine over “the pursuit of forbidden knowledge in literature” I have to make a 12 page essay (though double space so basically 6 pages) and a presentation. I have the easy Adam & Eve, Dr Faustus, Frankenstein, Prometheus, and Call of Cthulhu. But I’m looking for anymore recommendations. I also found a couple articles discussing the subject but not much. The fissure is about 2cm wide. I gave extreme pain, specifically after dedicating. I’ve had 2 surgeries, last one 6 days ago. The first surgery they cut two holes on each side of my rectum to let the abscesses drain. This didn’t work and second surgery they put in a seton thread on the one side. The pain does not let go and I’m wondering if there is any chance of me getting any better in the future. Or if there is anything I can do? I’m feeling my mental state is not getting better with all the pain and the outlook on maybe getting a stomi. Although that would have been a relief at this point. Thank you

In Sachen Gaming soll der PC die nächsten Jahre alle Games ohne Probleme auf einem 2k Monitor mit gut FPS und hohen Einstellungen schaffen.
Bei Productivity sind meine Anwendungen Programmieren, moderater Einsatz von VM‘s, etwas 3D Modeling und Spieleentwicklung mit Unreal.
Ist die Konfiguration gut dafür?
Reicht die 360 AIO oder sollte ich eine 420 AIO nehmen? Die 360er ist in dem North XL case einfacher zu installieren (Top), die 420er kann nur in der Front installiert werden und dann weiß ich nicht ob das passt mit der GPU und den vorinstallierten Fans.

2025.01.22 10:52 DJD4GE1 Calories for optimal growth
For context, I’m 31. 5’10, 185 lbs.
I started recently training at a gym 4 days a week. Primarily focused on Olympic lifts and some mixed calisthenics.
I’m happy with my weight. But I’m looking to ultimately gain muscle/tone. Over 6 weeks I have seen some definition increase but nothing crazy just yet.
My issue is that from what I understand, I’d need to take in 2500 calories a day to maintain the weight. But i realistically only get maybe 1500-1600 a day. Mostly high protein/clean sources.
I take creatine and glutamine and typically have 2 scoops protein a day as well. (Just started the creatine regiment) With eggs and chicken/beef and rice being the main meals with vegetables.
I’m worried that I ultimately won’t be able to build muscle without seriously upping my caloric intake. I also don’t want to gain crazy weight.
Thoughts?

I was debating an atheist on here awhile back that said non-corporeal entities (i.e. ideas, emotions, consciousness, etc.) are dependent on corporeal entities (i.e. matter) and cannot exist independently. It got me wondering then if humans progressed far enough in science and technology, could humanity then produce more speculative non-corporeal entities like spirits, angels, demons, souls, heaven, hell, etc. Basically, could humans 'create god' as is commonly understood? If so, wouldn't simulating the origins of the universe just create a population wondering where they came from and who made them? Also, wouldn't an endless chain of matter creating god creating matter creating god result in an endless, paradoxical, loop? I just recently learned about the 'emergent god hypothesis' and find it intriguing as a former atheist turned theist. In short, maybe you can have your materialistic origins of the universe AND still have your god, so long as you believe your non-corporeal god originated from matter.
