I've been enjoying some decks built around Nethergoyf, but I suspect they both could be improved. The first is Rakdos, combining aggressive creatures with strong disruption and Blood Moon. Molten Collapse feels particularly good against Energy and Breach. I question my supporting-card choices.
The second is Golgari, leveraging the strength of Grist and Malevolent Rumble to fill up the graveyard. Wight of the Reliquary allows for a land toolbox, but this strains my normal mana requirements and makes me vulnerable to flooding. Another tension is in the desire to play Abrupt Decay, which seems great against Dimir's threats as well as sometimes killing Underworld Breach, but perhaps having too low of a creature/permanent count that requires on them going to the 'yard.
These decks combine into Jund colors together, and I feel they are the spiritual successors to the archetype. I'm not interested in combining them into a three-color deck, as there are too many Blood Moon effects being played main, and I prefer more aggressive curves.

The ice has melted away, but the tree is still bent over. The roots aren't pulling out - its not a planting problem. The wood is literally bent over almost line a lowercase n or r. The tree has only been in the ground a couple years and the top is still pretty whispy and flexible, so I am not surprised. I just want to know if I should try staking it to help it straighten back up in the spring/summer. IS there something else I should consider?
Also, I am assuming any movement I do, I need to wait until its not freezing anymore, lest I rupture any frozen cells in the tree, right?

why is it that I see love in only those who hurt. those without concern for my mind, those who see it as a game, or a reward.
Why do I fall for their empty words when the words only serve to lure me in to a place of hurt.
Why do I trust in words of love, when that love has never been real, not now nor ever?
Why do I not pursue the love that heals and push away those with only good intentions.
Why do I fool myself with delusion of romance with those who shan't ever direct it at me.
Why did I think you felt the same, when all you did was use words rather than actions to display non-platonic affection.
Why did I hold on to someone whos love was on and off, inconsistent, undependable. Why do I repeat that pattern in my life so often. Why do I repeat my mistakes.
Why do I not see that which pushed me away from meeting new people in others, that love one way only hurts the one who loves, why did I not understand that the same hurt I made with those I pushed away is the same hurt I find myself in when pursuing others.
I wish I could apologize for the hundreds of people I lead on via ignorance, but not seeing the same myself is the worse, for I have not actualized the agony it causes me like it did those hundreds of others.
I don't blame you, or any of the others that did what you did, I blame myself for falling fool into the same games I pushed myself away from doing. I wish I was strong enough to say when it was one sided, and I wish you could do the same, for I ultimately hurt myself in this endless pursuit of love I could never find.
I am sorry for pushing the boundaries with the justification of empty words, for I trust words of love as things that nobody would use without meaning. The unfamiliar comfort of love is one I trust to an edge, and I need to stop trying to find it, furthermore trust it when it seldom is real.
I was never loved, nor do I think I ever will, but to accept that hurts like pulling a knife out of the wound, a wound that I've grown comfort in, for the pain it causes has proven I still felt.
from this day on, I will rid myself of delusion and distance myself from trying to find love where it doesn't exist.
