2025.01.22 10:56 Trinadian72 Which of these methods would be best for smoothing/finishing PETG for an armor cosplay?
So I've been doing some research on finishing 3D printed armor and could really use some advice on which method is the "best" for finishing a PETG armor set. For reference I'm mainly using Elegoo Rapid PETG and printing with a layer height of 0.12mm though I might up it to 0.16mm for parts that would take way too long. I've currently thought of these three methods but could use a recommendation for which would work best:
1: The "traditional" method - sand progressively from 80-180 grit sandpaper, spray with primer filler, sand with around 220 grit, spray again, repeat with higher grits until smooth.
2: Bondo + Acetone method - Sand with 80-180 grit, brush with the Bondo + Acetone mix, sand with a higher grit (220-300) then primer filler and repeat primer filler coats with higher grits until smooth.
3: "Lazy" Bondo + Acetone method - Don't sand initial part at all, brush with the mix, sand that then do all the primer filler stuff.
Would anyone with more experience in this stuff be able to recommend which method would be the best? Thanks!

Specs are: Ryzen 5 7600, RX 6700 XT, Cooler Master M240L Core AIO, 16x2 Team Vulcan 6000 mhz RAM
I was using an RM650 but it seems to be dying with constant reboots and sometimes doesn’t boot at all with CPU + DRAM lights. The A-BN MSI PSU are a tier C in the tierlist but has just 5 years of warranty, I was wondering if it would be enough for my system for now due to budget restraints. Any user experience would be welcome.

Hello everyone! This is a quick post to announce that i will reach gaumont HQ during the 24th febuary week. As it stands, it's the best schedule for me to put the project on the table to the company and try to reach some people out there.
I have absolutely no idea how this will end. I have a good stack of files and works made during the 2 last years in my hand. I also have the opportunity to talk with a lot of GF creators in specific social media, and i think i will reach them if i can't have a hand with GA.

I haven’t bought any 7.62x39 in a couple years and was browsing ammo seem.I’m kind of amazed the price has continued to go up. I’ve been seeing Yugo surplus .50-75 CPR. I’m finding brass for less than corrosive steel case. I know Russian steel case is harder to come by but hope nobody is paying these prices. Igman is just over .50 and sellier & bellot like .54 but somehow sterling and tela are more.
What gives?

As you may know, recently Revolut blocked custom Android ROMs. Interestingly, they're not relying on SafetyNet but rather on some other mechanism which can be bypassed easily. I've commented out the ro.lineage.build.version=22.1 line from the /system/build.prop file and Revolut works flawlessly so far.
I would like to ask the knowledgeable members of the community to comment on what long-term effects such a change might have. Currently, I'm observing that the 'LineageOS Updater' stopped working. Can it be fixed?
