2025.01.22 11:11 maddyliv I’m grateful for securing an internship job so I can finally graduate

Sorry for the rant, it’s only my second day at my internship, and I’m already so freakin tired… My feet are killing me from wearing heels 😭 I’m still in the adjustment phase (Day 1 was rough because I chose scrolling on Reddit over actually sleeping).
On the bright side, I’ve got three other things to be grateful for:

1. I’m going to bed early tonight, so hopefully, I won’t feel like a zombie tomorrow. 2. I can actually prep my stuff for tomorrow (food, ootd, etc.) instead of scrambling last minute. 3. I made it home safe despite the nightmare that is public transportation in my country. Still figuring that part out, but fingers crossed I survive these 600+ hours, get my final grade, and finally graduate 👩‍🎓

Hi, I've just switched some components (CPU, motherboard, RAM and PSUs) and since then I can't receive any wifi and my ethernet speed has been slowed down to 10/10 Mbps when it was 100/100 . The motherboard has integrated wifi (it's the b650 gaming plus wifi) . I've already updated the drivers and I'm planning on updating the BioS soon . Does anyone have any idea where the problem could be from other than that ?

Thermal pads vs putty for my GPU I want to refresh a RTX 3070 XC3 Ultra before passing it down to my girlfriend. Besides a deep cleaning I want to repaste it and change the thermal pads. Problem is I can't find the thermal pads size I need for this and importing them it's pretty expensive (Kritical pads would cost 49$ ship)
Other people recommended thermal putty as a substitute for pads but apparently the EVGA support team isn't agreeing.
Mind you the GPU is outside warranty but I assumed they know best for their product so I contacted support.

As in the title, how to understand this? When user opens the report, multiple queries are sent to the engine. Columns needed are loaded into memory. But is data in those columns filtered by the queries or whole scope of data is loaded? E.g there is RLS on user - does the queries sent to the engine filter the data loaded into memory? Or the filter is used on whole data that is cached? Seems to me all the data is loaded to memory/cache as this would result in faster performance for all subsequent users. But in this scenario 25 gb is not so much for very large models???

A few months ago I went to the ER and had an enlarged spleen. The doctor told me it was most likely mono but my primary sent me to a hematologist. After looking at bloodwork, he said I was fine, told me to come back. I ended up back at the ER for gallbladder reasons, and my spleen was still a bit enlarged, but less than last time. Now I’m experiencing petechiae and I am freaking out. I’m gonna call the hematologist again… I’m so so scared.
