Hi all. Recently I developed some pretty nasty ring worm. I went to my GP and I was prescribed Fluconazole tablets. Once a week for 4 weeks. Long story short, turns out I'm allergic and I developed this horrible blistering rash all over my hands and face and other parts of my body. Ive been back to my doctor and was prescribed antihistamines as well as a cream to finish the rest of the antifungal treatment. My question is would anyone have any tips for soothing this rash. It's extremely painful and basically feels like a bad sunburn. Sleeping in my bed is hell, and the only reprieve I've found so far is extremely hot showers or bandaging my hands. Any tips at all would be appreciated.

It has long been known that the emotionality of men and women is different. I don't want to delve into whether the reason is differences in biology or upbringing. Women usually have an extensive social support system. They often have closer and more satisfying relationships with family and friends. Women usually have several people close to their hearts, which gives them a sense of belonging and support, and it is to them that they turn to with their problems and difficulties that they encounter. For men, sharing emotions, especially more difficult ones, is more limited. They are less likely to inform their surroundings about problems at work, dissatisfaction with themselves and other difficulties. Very often, the only person such a man can complain to is his partner. Personally, I believe that women often find it much easier to get over a breakup because they have a much larger emotional support system, and in the case of men, when there is no partner, there is no one to complain to, which leaves the man alone with his sadness and regret. Hence my question: where do you satisfy your emotional needs? Who do you tell about what makes you sad, upset or angry? Is it family, friends, or maybe you don't have such a person at all? I know I'm looking at it from a female point of view and maybe men's emotional needs are lower than women's, but that's not to say they don't exist.

My husband and I have been together for 14 years, and I've always thought we've had good communication. We have three children. Every time I approach him about my feelings in the marriage pertaining to our lack of intimacy, he seems to point the finger at me and say I'm to blame - simply because we don't have enough bedroom fun. Our therapist has always said intimacy starts outside the bedroom, but my husband hasn't done anything nice for me in years. He does his household and parenting duties well, but when it comes to our marriage, he never approaches me and chooses to spend his time elsewhere, be it on his phone or on the computer, or watching TV. I've realized too he has a porn addiction, which again, he blames his use of pornography on our lack of sex. I just want him to take accountability and responsibility, and it seems we're at a stalemate and or chicken and the egg type situation. I feel lost, hopeless, and very lonely. I don't know what else to do. I have yet to see actionable changes despite our conversations, which has been very mild, we don't typically scream and yell at each other, which is maybe what I'm confusing for "good communication". I just keep feeling that I am getting dismissed and my feelings aren't valid and he lacks the motivation to change and create better intimacy and habits in our marriage. Anyone relate?
