 | As reported by Acepilot Aviation on January 20, 2025, the VH-92A Patriot has now replaced the VH-3D Sea King and VH-60N White Hawk as the primary Marine One helicopter used by the President of the United States. The VH-92A, based on the Sikorsky S-92, replaces the VH-3D, introduced in 1974 and derived from the Sikorsky S-61, and the VH-60N, which entered service in 1989 and was based on the Sikorsky UH-60 Black Hawk and SH-60 Seahawk platforms. Both legacy helicopters, extensively modified throughout their service lives, exceeded their original 20-year service expectations. The VH-92A Patriot, based on the Sikorsky S-92, first flew on July 28, 2017, undergoing extensive testing, including Initial Operational Test and Evaluation (IOT&E), which concluded in 2021, and the fleet now comprises a total of 23 units. I applied as a sound technician at mandai zoo as a part timer. i am still a beginner in this line however I have no experience yet. I only took this job because it my passion and it related to what I've studied. As it it written in the job requirement "no experience needed" as there will be training provided. I took it a chance to explore and learn. From all the other teammate(boys)in AV field there, it took them 3 to 6 months to master the art of sounds. One of them were inexperienced. i was on OJ meaning "on job trial" it was only two days of how the sound system works. I was only taught theoretically., of the button. i kept writing it out down as a learning method for me. they agreed to it and told it was good idea. As a person who understand the workflow of the job i wasn't given the chance to explore more on the two days trial...and ive never done it practically for this job. After all that speech, telling me their expectation to master this is 10 days for me and took it very seriously and continued asking and learning. During the interview they agreed that i can work for 3 to 4 days as the minimum criteria for part - timer. unfortunately, I have to work for 6 days including the weekends. i accepted to work on a Sundays even though it wasn't the right thing to do.
Just to keep in my mind the AV Teams are all boys i was the second girl to work with them. I was given my uniform and badges to start my day. Now after the two days i have to return back my uniforms and badge because I'm not skillful enough and i also didn't learn much and never get to touch the soundboard. i believe any job should have a 3-month probation to see whether they are suitable for the job instead of wasting other people's time and giving them two days of "so call training" and finally making a decision that i don't cut off for this job.
During the conversation i had with the team, they told me that i will be working from kid's section sound department because it's the easiest. to me it was workable but then i never practically done anything yet, still under the face of theory and exploring, which that was what i supposed to do for that two days. My question is, is this normal and am i facing equality here or its not for me?
There was no coaching, but only telling me to watch as a audience of the show. The coach was theoretical haven't done it practical yet.
It is the working style in singpapore?

I just posted a chapter that involved me learning about the Japanese word for vampire, Tony Renis, music venues in Milan, songs that came out in 2009, and types of bao, among other things. It seems like a bizarre combination of things, but I promise that it makes sense in context.

Eu estava usando o Google flight pela primeira fez pra monitorar passagens pra Bonito MS. Na Aba anonima, apareceu passagens de uns R$1.000 e pouco que corresponde ao preço mais em conta que eu já tinha pesquisado em outros buscadores.
Só que pra criar o alerta precisava fazer login e eu saí da minha aba anonima pra usar o meu Gmail. Nisso, a passagem em conta desapareceu e o valor da passagem mais barata foi R$2000 e pouco. Eu achei muito furada, parece que o algoritmo removeu uma passagem que já existe só pra ter algo pra me notificar (não uma redução real).
Vcs usam Google flights? Ele pode ser genuinamente útil?

Theres this guy friend who I think likes me and he’s asking me to spend time with him on his birthday together; even though I’ve made it very clear multiple times that we’re just friends. He got surprised when I talked about the plans with the expectation that the rest of our friend group is coming along because he said he thought it’d just be the two of us. He eventually brought it up to the group chat and asked who is free to go hangout that time (without mentioning its his birthday, so I don’t think they realize it’s an important day).
Either people can’t go or aren’t responding and I’m worried because I’m the only one who confirmed I can go. I know what it’s like to have friends flake out on you for important events and I really don’t want to be that person to a friend on their birthday. But I’m also not comfortable spending 1:1 time with him anymore and I don’t like how date-like this hangout sounds.
