2025.01.22 11:41 DeltaAlphaZulu13 Is there a way to get higher resolution using Remote Desktop?
So I’ve been using my quest the last few days using the built in Remote Desktop and I’m absolutely loving it. However, when I am playing PC games with n the screen in theatre mode they don’t look the greatest. Obviously they look fine on my monitor when not using the headset but I would have thought they should look a bit better than they do.
So, with that being said, is there a way to bring the resolution up so game look better in headset?
I’ve tried googling but everything I’ve come across is about virtual desktop not Remote Desktop.

A few months ago, I started my first job at Company A, but it wasn’t what I expected, so I began searching for a new opportunity. I accepted an offer from Company B, but before starting, I sustained an injury requiring surgery and a 2-month sick leave. Company A is unaware of my plans to leave, and Company B wants me to start after my recovery.
My concern is that I’ll need to resign during my sick leave since my notice period is short (2-3 weeks), and I can’t afford two months without income. This means Company A will cover my sick leave, but I won’t return afterward, which feels unfair to my team and may burn bridges.
I’ve considered informing Company A in advance, but I worry they might terminate my contract before my surgery, leaving me without income, because, if I am right informed, I do not have any right to unemployment benefits yet, since I just have been working for a few months.
Am I overlooking something, or is this the best course of action

2025.01.22 11:41 ArtemisPrime4 Separation anxiety resulting in messes whenever left. Not sure what to do? At wit's end
I have a very loving, 10 year old Coton de tulear. She's always been a bit tricky with toilet training, because of her separation anxiety but we thought we'd cracked it.
However, a few months ago she started messing in the house again. She doesn't do it when we're with her, but the minute we go to bed and leave her downstairs, or go out and leave her at home, she always wees - she poos about 70% of the time too. She know's its wrong because she hides when she's done a poo.
We've resorted to putting a nappy on her now when we're not with her for hygeine reasons (it's not nice living in a dog toilet!) which she will still mess in resulting in frequent baths.
We're truly at our wits end. We don't know why its got so bad, and we can't afford a dog behaviour expert, nor can we take her everywhere with us. Neither of us work full-time, so she's only alone for a couple of hours a day, and it's not every day either.
Does anyone have any advice? Is this a breed thing? Is it an age thing? Are there any new techniques we can try? We used to leave relaxing dog music on, which worked initially but she started associating that with us leaving and would hide. We've tried walking her just before we go out which helps slightly with the pooing sometimes but not the weeing, even leaving her with the cat - nothing has worked.

Hi,
I was looking for some winter jacket recommendations. It would be my only autmn/winter jacket that I'd use for getting the kids to school. A walk in the park or cycling to work (preferably just with a normal t-shirt/sweater underneed) I can shower at work and mostly change shirts there.
Had a hardshell that lasted me 10+ years now (not sure if it's insulated or not). I live in europe and can expect lots of rain and temperatures around +10C to -5C.
Was wondering about the Triolet, but not sure if this would be warm enough or not?
Otherwise might need to get somehihng like a windshadow parker, but not sure if this is as good for rain/wind as a hard shell.
What do you guys think?
