I think it's a need in my area. From what I see on local Facebook groups most folks are having guys drive in from the nearest "city" which is about 40 minutes away. Every weekend is a 3 day weekend for me since I'm on 4/10s. During the summer I'm usually looking for something to do on Fridays to feel productive. My wife and I know a lot of folks in town so I feel I could stay busy just from word of mouth. It's a wealthy area full of folks who don't DIY a lot of stuff.
Just curious about what the start up costs would be. I have a small pressure washer so I figured I'd have to get a better one. Already have a trailer if I need that. I'm not trying to make a living with this, just trying to stay busy and get some hunting money.
Is this feasible to do at small volume? How are you pricing this? My main job is in estimating, just curious if you're pricing by the hour or have something set up by the square foot or square yard of driveway. I'm guessing there'd be a minimum cost and then adders depending on size.

2025.01.22 14:02 Mpm_277 2017 Civic. Moment of overheating then fine?
My coolant mixture is almost certainly off as I was running distilled water in it over the summer because of a minor leak and then about a few months ago started adding 50/50 mix. We rarely have multiple days below freezing but are in a cold spell where it’s been single digits overnight for a few nights.
On the way to work this morning, I noticed the temp gauge creep up steadily to 3/4 of the way to hot. It stayed there and I was able to pull over pretty quickly and shut the car off. After letting it sit for about 5 min, I was able to turn it back on and continue to work without it ever crossing the middle of the gauge again.
Kind of confused why it would just do that for a moment and then seemingly be fine again the rest of the way. Any thoughts? I know I definitely need to drain the coolant and add proper mixture; I just very literally haven’t had time (no real excuse if it kills my car tho).

Let's say you were working in PE in the UK prior to starting your MBA and would need sponsorship to work in America.
Your firm does not let you transfer to the NY office because literally everyone wants to do that and it will never happen for you, therefore you choose to do an MBA.
In America you need prior PE experience pre-MBA to get into PE post-MBA. Would this hypothetical international student with prior PE experience get sponsorship?
I know most banks sponsor, and so do most consulting firms, but pretty much everywhere else doesn't and I've read that PE doesn't sponsor either.
Also, if they was already at a mega fund prior to starting the MBA would that increase their chance of sponsorship?
What if they were at Harvard/Stanford/Wharton vs. The rest of the M7?

I am trying to calculate the screen size and content size of a view in my SwiftUI app. **However, I've encountered the following issues:**
**1. Mismatch Between geometry.size and UIScreen.main.bounds:**
- When using geometry.size in a GeometryReader, the dimensions do not
match UIScreen.main.bounds because the former excludes safe area
insets, while the latter includes them.
- To resolve this, I added the safe area insets to **geometry.size** using
the **getTotalSize** function in my code.
**2. Issues in iOS 16.4 Simulator When Orientation Changes:**
- My code works fine in iOS 15, iOS 17, and iOS 16 devices, but not in
the iOS 16.4 simulator.
- To address this, I tried updating the size using .onChange(of:
geometry.safeAreaInsets) instead of .onChange(of: geometry.size).
This workaround seems to resolve the issue for all scenarios.
**3. onGeometryChange modifier Not Found:**
- I attempted to use onGeometryChange, which is supposed to handle
geometry changes more elegantly. However, I get the following error:

Hello! I think the title is self explanatory. I have this wooden like (i think) drawer bottom and i have discovered the pond of piss that had been sitting on it for 2 days. I dried and cleaned the drawer bottom with soap, then with water vinegar and baking soda. It is heavily stained amd the cardboard is all swell up . Any tips on that?

I got to see what having a good/normal relationship with food is like and it must be so relaxing to just see food as fuel for your body, something that provides you with nutrients and helps you stay healthy. seeing it just made me think if its really that simple.
It must be nice to not feel guilty after eating a normal portion of food. My mind constantly goes back and forth between “i need to eat so i dont faint” and “but i feel better when i look better”.
Writing all this is so funny especially considering my username on here haha

Hi!
Little update on the second Prusa CORE One I’m working on.
Each drawer is held in place by magnet and will be customizable. You can choose between several inserts for each one and they will be swappable thanks to a single M3x8 screw.
I will try to give several options between hollow inserts (single or divided one), nozzle insert, SD and USB keys inserts, tools inserts…
A large drawer (you can only place at the bottom part) will also be available to store larger tools. I showed an example with pliers and screwdriver insert but I will provide hollow inserts too (single and up to 3 compartments).
I tried to keep an handle on this mod, and I chose to provide flat drawers so you will be able to customize them as they are printed front part flat on bed.
