“Some patients with schizophrenia might be overmedicated, leading to unwanted side effects and the wish to reduce their medication. The patients in our study illustrate how guided tapering of antipsychotic medication done jointly with the patient can lead to improved emotional awareness and the development of effective symptom management strategies. This may, in turn, lead to a greater sense of empowerment and identity and give life more meaning, supporting the experience of personal recovery.” submitted by MadinAmerica- to MadInAmerica_ [link] [comments] |

2025.01.22 13:01 CameHereFor-ToHelp Weird dream. What could it mean?
Like I was part of some boys during world war 2. I mean I was watching a film about them. So they basically saved prisoners from prisons. I remember that I was like this twin or smth like that and was climbing a tower. It was mine and my twins job to climb it (without any protection ofc) and then free it. I managed to arrive almost at the top but he didnt and fell down. I saw it from up close as he falls down breaks his legs and then keeps falling. "Not only those who fell knew they would break their legs but also that the pain would last till they fell down completely and died." Why listening to that I saw many others fall in the same way. I also woke up strangely cause it was an immediate shift from dream to waking up. It was kinda like a nightmare but It was not that scary. Also for context I am 15. Ask for more details.
