Psikiyatriden çok daha karmaşık olan, ameliyat ve tahlil gerektiren alanların (üroloji, dermatoloji, genel cerrahi, vs) özel kliniklerdeki muayene ücretlerinin, psikiyatri kliniklerine göre çok daha ucuz olduğunu gördüm ve düşünüyorum.
Bu kliniklerde, psikiyatride olduğu gibi uzun süre gitme gibi bir durum da söz konusu değil. Bu durumda psikiyatri kliniklerinin ücretlerinin daha uygun fiyatlı olması gerekmez mi? Sonuçta uzun denilebilecek bir süre düzenli gidilmesi gerekecek hastalar tarafından bu kliniklere.
Mesela, Ankara'da bir psikiyatristin muayene ücreti 6000 TL'ye kadar çıkmış durumda.

It may seem a strange thing to celebrate but, after starting with a BMI of 42.2, today my BMI is 34.9; losing the descriptors (very, morbidly, severe etc) to my obesity. I'm just obese now!
And yes, I know BMI is a crap measure and people don't really use the different classes of obesity anymore (tell that to the weight tracker apps) but, screw it! I need a win and I'm taking it!

I hope you’re all doing well! I’m reaching out because I have my university exams coming up from May 13th to May 31st this year, and I’ve also registered for the CFA Level II exam during the May window. Unfortunately, I’ve noticed that there aren’t any Saturday or Sunday slots available right now.
I’m curious if anyone here has experience with taking the exam in the evening? Also, if no extra exam dates are added, I’d love to hear your thoughts on what my best options might be.

I have had two limb and back EMGS. I have never had my bulbar region tested. Trouble swallowing but they didn't test it. Said I was speaking fine. I got Covid in December and now it's really hard to swallow. Tongue seems to not to want to push and throat is dry and dryness moves around in throat. Switching with random mucus. Mucus was there before Covid.
Going for another EMG but not for awhile. Does anyone know if you have to test the bulbar region for bulbar als. I have heard yes and no. My first emg had active denervation and was called lumber sacral radiculopathy in the sacral paraspinals. Second found chronic denervation reduced recruitment in foot of motor type. Said possible trauma or shoe wear. So would be thankful if anyone can answer the bulbar question. Thank you.
