(I have Shining Pearl.) Is it easier to wait for the Trophy Garden with its 5% spawn rate, or should I catch a Ditto and try to breed? My Eevee from Bebe is male, and I've heard that if you breed a male Pokémon with a Ditto, it'll be more likely to produce a Ditto egg? And it's annoying trying to find a Pokémon that has Magma Armor or Flame Body; I've caught many potentials with no luck. Sorry for the long-winded question! Just trying to get the Eeveelutions as quickly/easily as possible. Thank you very much!

That does not mean that Gus did not place men under Mike's supervision -- he clearly did and the dynamic between V and Mike in Box Cutter shows that V is lower on the totem pole than Mike for sure, but perhaps still answering directly to Gus.

Economics is an academic discipline that purports to explain something about capitalism. Those with the faith will tell you that microeconomics, the study of individual markets, is the most well-understood part of economics. But much (most?) of what is taught to undergraduates is, at best, nonsense. Why is that?
This post is not about demonstrating the mistakes and poor teaching. My favorite arguments often start with the question of in what units is capital measured. You might think that that should be an answerable question.
Maybe this is not the right forum for this question. A common trope is that propertarians do not take more than a week of economics. When somebody offers to teach you economics in one lesson, go back for the second lesson.
Plain ignorance might somewhat explain the nonsense that is taught. Over a quarter century ago, J. E. King had a disagreement with G. C. Harcourt. Harcourt thought it was a matter of arrogance that so many of his colleagues ignored what he taught. King thought it was ignorance.
Another answer might be a matter of professionalism. Some look on their job as to teach the contents of a subject, not to give their opinions about it. Some might pride themselves on the students not knowing their view. Opinions differ. In such a value-laden subject, some teachers would insist on telling students up-front their values so the students can discount them if they want. Others might insist on the distinction between facts and values and insist they are not teaching the latter. Furthermore, teaching caveats and complications might just confuse the student. That can be left for more advanced classes.
A third aspect has more to do with research, that of boring from within. Suppose you get into economics because you have some ideas about how to improve the world. You might think that to successfully promote your ideas, you must cast them into the accepted, dominant formalism, maybe with a twist. You might ignore how much the formalism is not about any actually existing economy. I do not that he would fully agree, but I cite George Akerloff as an example. I could cite Paul Krugman as an example with more of a policy focus. Or many others.
So why do you think elementary teaching is so poor?

What is everyone’s opinions on spam pinging objectives and the regroup call? I use the comms wheel religiously (probably to an annoying degree) but I only ping objectives when someone is genuinely lost and usually a much lower level than me. Regroup comm – coming from me – should say “I have the last objective, let’s go,” right?
Would y’all be annoyed if someone your level, who is actively watching you do tasks, spam pinged where to put boxes on the conveyer belts or where to put keys? The psychosurgery groups we usually end up in have all max-level players, so I always assume they’re going to know what to do.
Genuinely asking what yall think because I leave groups when people do this too much and was curious as to how much of a pussy I’m being in doing so 🫢 Are they just … excessively communicating? Or being obnoxious
