I’m visiting Sao Miguel for 10 days from 31 March this year - along with my wife and two young kids.
We have flights, accommodation and car hire already booked in.
My question: is there anything that we should book in advance (the usual tourist spots/activities) or are we likely to be ok to make arrangements after we arrive? The kids mean that flexibility/deciding a day or two before is very handy.

Hello I have a 22 GTI. I recently took it into a dealership for service . While it was getting serviced. They did the open recall. (The rear view camera software update) . They told me what they were performing the software update. The infortament system with dark. The screens won't turn on. Has this happen to anyone else? What was the fix. How long did it take.

A girl is interested in me... This might seem insignificant, but up until now I've flirted with many girls, but non of it worked. Also almost every girl friendzoned me (which itself isn't that bad, I got may good friends that way, but it stung a bit). I've gotten a LOT more open and less self-conscious, but I never could've imagined that this would happen so soon.

This is a long one. I’ve had a friend for about 8 years now, we will call her Julia. As a back story she’s always been very codependent on me and has lived with me for these past 8 years as well.
I recently moved to a new city, and Julia ended up following me. We do not live together though. Ever since moving, Julia has been absolutely miserable. I won’t get into the details of the other TWO times this happened since moving here but I’ll tell you the one from the other day because it’s essentially the same situation. I invite her to go skiing with me and my friend, we will call her Summer. Julia says yes and seems excited. The day comes and she already has this attitude a little bit in the car, like very quiet at first. Julia then asks me “oh yeah how was your trip with your dumbass friend”.. I said I know you don’t like him but that was unnecessary and he doesn’t say anything about you. She said “I hate him you can tell him that” I just didn’t respond, I assume she is upset she wasn’t invited but she’s not friends with my guy friend I went on a trip with? My friend Summer now gets in the car and the vibe is already so off. We are talking but Julia is just silent as she’s driving. We try to converse with her but she just straight up doesn’t answer my friend Summer when she asked her a question. Which then Julia later says to me that I was excluding her from the conversation (she singles out me and never mentions Summer). I said, honey I am not going to hold your hand and help you talk to people, we were having a completely open convo anyone is willingly to jump in. She said (with my friend in the car and she thankfully backed me up) “that I didn’t ask her what HER favorite artist was in the car” I said are we FIVE YEARS OLD? - I about had it.
Anyway continuing.. Throughout the entire day she said upwards to 20 times that she wanted to killherself. Called herself ugly at least 5, said me and Summer hated her 10 times. I said Julia, there is something so much deeper happening. She then said that she feels alone and that she can’t come to for anything (totally out of the blue I was like I do not understand where this is coming from at all?) she gave no explanation as to why she felt this way even though I repeatedly asked. I told her she needs to talk someone or go to therapy and that her medication isn’t working (in a nice way). Continuing on some more, she says this happened previously when me, this friend and her hung out. (Unknown to me cause again, I invited her and had a normal convo with Summer as Julia stood in silence). I said to Julia, let’s just avoid these situations then from now on I don’t know how else to include you. (Meanwhile she doesn’t invite me to anything?) she then says “not inviting me to things will make it worse” I said how would that make it worse when you already say you want to kill yourself multiple times when you’re with us.
Am I the asshole for wanting to end this friendship? What can I even do if this has happened multiple times before? What is the root cause of her angerudeness?
