My partner's parents live in a gated village. A homeowner proposed to acquire a 67k TNR budget from the board of directors to spay/neuter 10 community cats. Her mom countered that kapon would only cost 3k at most per cat. Proponent explained that 3 volunteers are needed to trap the cats and will be paid for it (hence not volunteers after all?).
Budget will only be spent on kapon efforts, no other medical procedures, no vaccines, no breakdown provided except for the compensation for said volunteers worth 1k per day. They have a donation system for the cats' daily needs outside this budget, for which my partner's mom is a donor. Ngayon, inaaway siya sa gc for countering the proposal. If the goal is actually to help the cats, why the hostility when presented with a better alternative? Is this actually reasonable?? Has anyone else encountered this?

This happens quite a lot actually. I've told myself to remember to check for this problem, bc if I haven't pressed 'save' yet, I can usually get the text back without losing anything by pressing CTRL + Z for 'undo.'
However, I didn't notice this time, and I had a ton of info written in this post I just made - https://www.reddit.com/BryanKohbergerMoscow/comments/1i7dbxt/does_adam_even_exist/ - and it all disappeared.
I just tried to add some back, and re-wrote the 3 or 4 juiciest paragraphs. When I pressed save, it disappeared again. Everything else shifted over 1 spot to the left, and things that were at the bottom of the cascade under each point disappeared. (That's where my thoughtful analysis was & longest-transcribed quotes. No time to fix it again now either.)
Very annoying, very sad I hope this issue gets fixed.

Hi everyone. Sorry if this has been asked before.
I'm curious which edition of the setting people would recommend for a new 13th Age campaign.
Ideally I'd want to identify the book that gives a decent overview of the setting with minimal game mechanics included. I don't need a ton of setting minutae either - the way I run 13A is more focused on building out the setting with the players' input to fill in the basic framework of the setting.
I'm somewhat familiar with the setting already, I've read some friends' books when the setting was new to 3.x, but I never picked up my own copy.
