So I have hand problems as many of you all. I don't have a lot of free time so I will first buy some pre-assembled Aliexpress build (maybe without keycaps and switches so I can customize these)
But thing is I'm trying to decide between those
Ergonomically, I believe that what changes comes down to hand movement vs thumb use. Corne has one less row so to type numbers and such I will be using the thumb to change the layout, right? While in Silakka I can have the numbers on top so I can use them without thumb use.
But which one is better for hand/finger health? I think both seem good but this part is making it hard for me to decide, please help ｡⁠◕⁠‿⁠◕⁠｡

He was about 9 or 10 in this picture. His grandfather would allow him to take a puff of his cigar every Sunday during family lunch. He was my dad's favourite grandparent, even living with him for a year when he was 13 (his favourite childhood year he said). He never got along well with his parents, having "rebelled" by becoming a (locally successful) jazz musician. He passed away last March at the age of 64 from a sarcoma.

2025.01.22 14:05 mass-psychogeny FB account hacked, unable to reach ID verification step / account was disabled because i stupidly tried to make a new account when finding out mine was hacked. Anything i can do at this point?

any help or explanations would be so appreciated, i feel so hopeless at this point !! first thing i did was go to the /hacked link and got this far, but it doesnt allow me to add a new email or "secure" anything, saying its invalid no matter what email i put in, ive tried friends' as well.

i dont use facebook outside of messenger and i had logged back on needing to get a hold of somebody, so it was at this point i tried to make a new account in attempt to secure some sort of FB presence and talk to them, but i used too similar of a name and it asked me to verify my identity via selfie, not ID. so i did, and i didnt get a screenshot of this but it was read as invalid/wasnt accepted, maybe my bum phone camera or the lighting but i figured that might be a good thing, that then my account would get flagged appropriately as compromised since the hacked link dindt seem to be going anywhere.
i didnt see until it was too late the email from meta notifying me my email had been removed, the "is this you? click this if not" link was invalid by the time i'd gotten to it.
i tried the regular log in page with my original email and "old password" hoping to get somewhere and i thought i was

desparately hoping 3 weeks isnt too long to remedy this, i click secure my account and it immediately says

When I was younger, I could do laps on the most intense of the intense coasters without skipping a beat. As I've grown into my old age (late 20s) I no longer can ride stuff without getting incredibly nauseous, on coasters/rides that I'd say were tame in my teens (I'm looking at you, gatekeeper & my worst enemy, maxair). Is this just how it is as you get older? Are my coaster enthusiast days over? Am I becoming my parents? Any tips on how to navigate this challenging time appreciated

I’m currently out here in Korea about to come back to the states and I’ve been trying for the past couple of months to download GTA 5. It will get all the way to 99 percent and then say it can’t install and give me the error code message CE-107933-3. At this point I’m all out of answers greatly appreciate it if I could get a solution so I can play my favorite game again.

Would dwarf grey isopods be suitable for a bioactive bearded dragon enclosure, where humidity would be quite low. I plan on burying a hide for the isopods which i will keep moist and put leaves inside for them to eat, would that be okay for them? If the dwarf grey isopods aren’t suitable then any recommendations for other types of clean-up crew would be great.

Well, I had a horrible slip today while at work. One of our "clients" was describing their ethnic background and a situation related to it, and I (who admire their ethnic background/nationality) said that in my opinion, they are "strong" people. I immediately regretted it and said, "Oh, I'm sorry if that is stereotyping", and they were gracious. I feel badly for getting so casual with the client that I let my personal opinion out like this. Besides apologizing, is there anything else to reasonably do?

I'm senior undergrad student and I took the course of reaction mechanism. I really loved the subject but unfortunately my prof. didn't taught anything. Neither I had the time to learn all the mechanisms thoroughly.
It was a course related to mechanisms such as Aliphatic Nucleophilic/ electrophilic substition reaction, addition elimination aromatic reaction and so on. We had to follow the jerry March organic chemistry book for this course.
I took the exam and I think i am in dire need of learning the basics of these reactions and how to apply them in advance reaction. So anyone in this organic community know which book is good to learn better other than jerry march because I think it's not a great book for beginners and it's very advance with no practice material..
