I moved in with my current boyfriend Mark after a whirlwind romance. We had only known each other for about six weeks but I already knew he was the one.
I will admit that I know very little of Mark's history and my friends warned me to be careful. He did tell me that he had a six year old daughter but she had died almost fifteen years ago. I wanted to ask for more details but could tell he wasn't yet ready to talk about it.
I began to spot a few irregularities after moving into Mark's house and didn't know if I should ask him about it.
The first thing I noticed was the amount of meat we were going through. He was buying enough to feed ten people and yet it lasted the two of us less than a week
He also had a lock on his basement and always warned me never to go down there.
The thing that pushed me over the edge was hearing a small girl crying down in the basement. I had heard reports of people going missing in our neighbourhood and I began to suspect that Mark was involved.
I waited until Mark was fast asleep before using a pair of bolt cutters to open the basement padlock.
I crept down the steps and towards the sound of the girl crying. She immediately went silent when I called out to her.
I almost jumped out of my skin when I saw a shadowy figure crawling along the ceiling towards me.
I turned around and raced back towards the stairs. I slid to a halt at the bottom step as Mark stood at the top looking disappointed.
He told me this was my own fault for being a bad girlfriend before switching off the lights and closing the door. I began to panic as I was now in complete darkness and couldn't remember which direction the stairs had been.
I let out a scream as something jumped onto my back and I was dragged down to the ground.
A velvety voice whispered in my ear that “Daddy doesn't usually provide me with live meat”, before a set of tiny teeth plunged into my jugular.

I would kill off Simon Baz, making his "death" (drum sound), but his rip a crucial part of Jessica's development. I wouldn't adopt the Earth-3 ring storyline. Instead, in a more serious plot, I would have Jessica and her friends hunted down by a psychopath, with only Jessica surviving, though her psyche would be fragile.
Simon, her boyfriend, was supposed to become a Green Lantern, but he dies protecting Jessica. The ring would save her by choosing her to wield it, but she would become emotionally broken. She would continue conversing with her deceased boyfriend's projection, constantly feeling that it should have been him, not her, overwhelmed by grief and low self-esteem. When she finally accepts her role as a Green Lantern and comes to terms with Simon's death, she will begin to heal and truly blossom.

Je viens vers vous aujourd'hui en tant que H28, fervent écologiste qui est, tout comme tout le monde, assassiné par les images du "salut Hitlerien" de notre cher Milliardaire.
Je me suis réveillé le lendemain matin de l'inauguration de Trump, avec ma copine qui m'a dit avant même de me dire "Bonjour" : "As-tu vu qu'Elon Musk n'a pas lâché un, mais deux saluts nazis lors de son discours ?
Je me jette sur mon téléphone, ouvre l'application "Le Monde" et cette image fait bien partie des images à la une.
Outrés, on peste pendant 10 minutes sur Elon, Trump et l'extrême droite avant de partir au boulot.
Pendant ma pause, en pleine digestion, je scroll sur reddit et je vois cette image partout. Et là je me dis : "Et si j'allais regarder le passage du discours, afin de comprendre un peu plus en détail au lieu de me faire assaillir par les réseaux.
Je regarde donc 3 minutes du discours. J'entends "I offer you my heart" et il y a donc Musk qui pose la main sur le coeur, et mime de le prendre et de le jeter à la foule, offrant un magnifique cliché figé dans le temps x2.

Je ne dis pas que Musk n'est pas fasciste. Je ne dis pas non plus qu'il n'a pas voulu faire de bad buzz pour faire baisser les actions Tesla.
Je ne dis pas non plus qu'il n'a pas fait de salut nazi. La vérité est que je n'en sais rien.
Tout ce que j'aimerai dire, c'est qu'on ne nous a même pas laissé le bénéfice du doute. Et ça arrive tous les jours. Et ça m'effraie
