Hey people, thinking of getting a m6 to complement my new m11 and lenses within the next 2-5 months.
This won’t be my daily driver but more of a camera for special occasions / projects. I want to make sure this camera lasts me for the next 10-20 years so I want to minimize the chance it breaks.
Would you recommend buying a vintage one for ~3K USD or the reissued version for ~6K USD. All purchases would be second hand from keh/mbp/local store. I can afford either but saving a few $$$ is always desirable. Also open to other m-mount rangefinder suggestions like a zeiss ikon zm

2025.01.22 16:50 Mast3rBait3rPro How well do you think only s1 of Clannad holds up?
Obvious spoilers and also TLDR at the end
Don't bother with saying "you need it to watch after story" or "season 2 is way better just keep watching" I already know all that. I'm just saying if after story didn't exist, or if we were still in the period where after story hadn't released yet: how well do you think the first season holds up by itself?
My impression after hearing what people were saying online is that it was going to be almost unwatchable garbage but it was actually pretty decent. After getting used to the way that the show has the characters interact with each other, I started to like some of them and was actually kind of interesting in how things were gonna go.
First girl wins was kind of obvious after a while but it was still kind of nice to see in the end. Now for the things that I didn't like though. I didn't really like Okazaki like at all. He's very frustrating both in how he deals with his dad, and how he kind of doesn't care about anyone but the girls he's close to. At least that's the vibe I get. He barely shows any interest in being anything but playing along with other people being mean to his only guy friend.
I also really didn't like how Nagisa felt about her parents "giving up" their dreams to raise her. Her entire life she went being made painfully aware that her parents basically adore her, and she sees a single photo album of her parents doing stuff and her mental state does a deep dive? Really? Whichever way you wanna refer to it, you can either call that straight mischaracterization or if you want to say it's a realistic reaction then she's genuinely extremely stupid. Like obviously the story has been portraying her as kind of slow, but you have got to be kidding me with how dumb her reaction is. Her parents having to yell the absolute most obvious stuff at her during the play to get her to stop crying her eyes out in front of basically her whole school was insane.
In Okazaki's defense of not liking Sunohara, I didn't like that Sunohara was basically the 1 dimensional horny character outside of very random sporadic lucid moments. At that point just keep him stupid and have the insightful perspective from someone else, or make sunohara more normal. Very jarring to see him constantly lust for the next girl and then he randomly locks in for like 30 seconds to give the main character decent advice, followed by Okazaki just completely brushing him off like when he went to his room while Okazaki was staying with Nagisa around the time of the picnic.
TLDConclusion I overall liked it more than I was expecting, I'd give it a 7.5/10, it's skippable if this was the only season but it's good enough to watch earnestly as long as you're transitioning into season 2 after watching the first one. Plenty of valid complaints but that's par for the course on an anime from the 2000s.

We deserve better OR the app needs to get better for us. The issues the past couple wars have been pretty bad. One of my biggest issues is the fact that if you are a medium/large regiment, you are stuck at a certain amount of people in your squads at a time. It's not very nice when you have most of your regiment on yet can't fit them all into the squad. Does anyone else feel the same way about our in game voice comms?

Most of the resources I have found googling are for really new or really old cards. I’m looking to buy some mega evolutions and have seen some varying info on how to tell if they are real or fake. Does anyone have a list of what is supposed to by textured, slick, holo, not holo and all of that? I found one spot that said the eyes and lettering across the pokemon are holo and someone saying the whole thing is so I was just wondering what is correct if anyone knows. I don’t own one yet to compare it and just got back into pokemon. Thank you all for your help.

This is probably a silly question and most likely a product of imposter syndrome + ignorance.
So I've been working at a start-up straight from graduating for the last 2 years. Our team is really small (4 devs). I primarily work in the frontend (React + Typescript). But also am tasked with buillding API's using API Gateway, Lambda, DynamoDB as well as setting up user authentication with Cognito. I've built 5 API's (all relatively basic CRUD functionalities). As well as hosting the site on S3.
Anyways, I'm currently on the hunt for a new job. Our company is weird with titles as in my CEO doesn't really understand the differences between titles.
So was wondering if it would be fair for me to say I'm a Full Stack Developer on my resume for this current company?

Hey Reddit,
I’m in a tricky situation and could really use some advice. Here's what happened:
I was in the process of buying a used car from a seller on Facebook Marketplace. We met at the BMV, where the seller signed over the title to me, and we got it notarized. The plan was for the seller to drive the car to my place, and I’d pay him once he delivered it.
However, on his way to my place, the seller got pulled over, and the car was impounded. Now, the seller is saying he wants to file for a new title, retrieve the car from impound, and is asking me to throw away the title I already have with both our signatures.
Here’s the situation:
- I don’t have a temporary or permanent title in my name yet, just the old title with both our signatures and the notarization.
- I haven’t paid for the car yet, and given this situation, I don’t want the car anymore.
- Can the seller legally file for a new title after signing and notarizing the old one over to me?
- If I agree to “throw away” the signed title as he’s asking, could there be legal repercussions for me?
- What’s my best move in this situation? Should I just let him deal with it and walk away, or do I need to take some other action to protect myself?
