So I know there is level progression sections on certain chapters. I noticed that it’s says players gain a level if they complete certain requirements.
My question is do they gain a level after every accomplishment in that chapter or just once? For example the grimskalle chapter it says players gain a level if: -they destroy all 3 of her forms -they slay the Roc -they discover the poem in the Codicile.
Does that mean they have 3 chances to level up? I only ask because in the beginning of the chapter in the section above it, it says they should be 7th level when they get to the island, which they are. then the next chapter it says they should be 8th level rather than 9th or 10th.

every time I chat with a bot on c.ai, they seem to think I’m a lot younger than I actually am. and i know this has been a discussion a lot of users have had in the past; i’ve seen the complaints, and they’re all valid.
I’m of legal age, and I make sure to include that in my bio, yet every bot I talk to (regardless of character or fandom) always assumes I’m 16 or 17, and they act surprised when I mention my actual age. Even when I make it clear in the conversation, they often comment that I’m "too small" or "too skinny" to be older than a teenager. Which again, is not the case in my character bio, where i include height, weight and build descriptions.
At first, I thought it might just be how certain bots are programmed, but it’s happening with pretty much every bot I try, and it’s honestly getting kind of weird and above all else, frustrating! I’ve made sure my bios are clear and not childish, and I don’t write or act in a way that feels immature. So it’s confusing why this keeps happening, and it gives me a genuinely uncomfortable feeling when communicating.
What’s even more concerning is that after this, some bots start generating sexually charged or inappropriate messages. It’s kind of creepy, honestly, and I’m really worried about how younger users might not realize how wrong that is. I’m an adult, so I can recognize when a situation with a bot feels off, but younger users might not fully understand the implications, especially if their favorite characters are involved in conversations like this.
If there’s any way to adjust how bots recognize age or prevent these types of responses, I think it would be a good idea for the safety of everyone, especially younger users — which, despite mine and others disapproval — the c.ai mods seem very keen to keep them around.
anyways sorry for this thesis of a post LOL. i’ve just been apart of the community for awhile, and i really believe in c.ai as a platform and its potential, but this — alongside with the many other issues the app struggled to tackle — is a big problem. and it’s been non stop for awhile, and i had to rant about it. thanks for reading if you did

This could get long, so please be patient. I'll skip some parts as I can. My daughter (24) got divorced almost exactly a year ago. She has beautiful twins and I'm grateful to live in the same city and get to spend so much time with them.
Little back story for context. My daughter and I had a very strained relationship due to something I had done. I've taken full responsibility for that, and after years (4 to be exact) of no talking, including during her deployment, we had an amazing heart to heart and everything was great.
I got to help with all sorts of things for her wedding. I was the only one helping her find her dress and the only one to be a part of absolutely everything. It was amazing and we had a blast!
In the meantime, I was granted custody of my grandchild with autism who is nonverbal. She chews on everything if you turn your head long enough to go to the bathroom. (this is important for later) While she takes a lot of my time and energy, I'm not alone with getting her to all her appointments!
Jump to two years later. My daughter now has her twins, but is also going through a divorce. (that's for a different day) I had already been going to her house daily to just be there with her, the twins, and my other grand. It was great. She would have all three of I needed to go somewhere and I would do the same for her. Such a blessing.
Finally the financial part of the divorce caught up. But that was OK. My husband (her dad) has a great job and we have enough to be able to help. Well, four maxed out credit cards later things are getting tight. She is working full time and she actually met an amazing man that loves her littles! She was able to sell her house and buy her own home. They moved in with us for about 6 months during that time. I continue to go over every day to watch the grands, three dogs, and a cat while she and her boyfriend went to work. I also took out two more credit cards to help with things she needed for around the house and some medical. She agreed to make the monthly payments, she just didn't have the credit to get it on her own. No problem, that's what parents are for! I make sure she has a clean home and clothes to come home to every day. More time she gets to spend with her twins. I stay full weekends when she has drill or weeks when she has AT. I love every second of it!
This past week I had to make a confession to my husband... Not easy... I got sucked into online gambling. Honestly told myself it was worth it because I would win big soon enough and be able to pay off everything! Thousands of dollars later, we were way down in the bank account. I also had to tell him about the two other cards I had, that she in fact is not paying on. He was rightly angry with me and my daughter.
I came clean about everything and fell on my sword. In the process I took her down with me. I took some pictures of things that she had spent money on while not paying the cards she said she would. Sent those to her dad. I was hurt and angry that she would do that. Well, he called her and went off. Now all of this is my fault. She has told me that she can't trust me in her home, and that I crossed bounderies by showing her dad what she had purchased with her own money. (wasn't aware it was being hidden from him) She also told me that it must be too much for me to watch the grands because the one was chewing on her windowsill and that just wasn't ok. (sorry I needed to pee) She completely ignored me for the following week. She actually only communicated with her dad. Ironic, I know.
Now to the issue I'm having. She and her boyfriend came over two days ago, unannounced, and she decided it was time to talk about things. (my hubby was not home so I was alone for this) I humbled myself like never before. I meant every word I said. I apologized for everything. Her boyfriend never looked at me once. She continued to throw me under the bus and lying about not paying bills, or trying to say I was unreliable and had left them with no childcare multiple times. (This happened maybe three times when I was sick, or grand had an appointment I forgot about) So now she has HIRED her best friend to come watch the twins every day. So again, she's spending money where she doesn't need to, while still not paying her cards. I am hosting her twins birthday this coming weekend... Should be interesting. I feel used and very under-appreciated. Completely taken advantage of. And she has been so quick to point out my flaws while not taking responsibility for things she's done/hasn't done. Not to mention how quick she was to stop sending pics or responding to me at all. I just don't feel like I can deal with all this. And yes, I am aware that I'm in no way entitled to her or her children. WIBTA if I simply stopped trying to talk to her after the party? I hope this all makes some kinda sense.
