 | Wanted to share my rebind of the first three books :). Each book features a weapon and a plant of significance to the content of the books on the hardcase (Nightlock/the big tree/Primrose & arrow/trident/noose). I only started rebinding books last month plus paintings on edges is freaking hard, so I made some mistakes (cough Peeta cough, it was 3am and I was over it lol), but I had a lot of fun making these and it gave some purpose to the second hand paperbacks I had lying around. Fun fact: The different colored leaves are a reference to the covers of the German edition, which I grew up reading. 2025.01.22 13:35 Sad_Anywhere1952 How am I able to tell if my specs are good enough?/are they good enough?
I’ve been playing games all my life, but usually it’s just on a mediocre laptop. I’m hoping to download Diablo 4, but I’m struggling to understand how to tell if my specs are higher or lower than what is required.
I have an AMD Ryzen 5 2500U as my processor and it requires a minimum of either Intel Core i5-2500K or an AMD FX-8350.
Graphics card is AMD Radeon Vega 8 and I need a minimum of AMD Radeon R9 280 or NVIDIA GeForce GTX 660.
My biggest confusion is definitely how they’re not one to one ratios between companies. So many numbers and letters after the company name that just don’t make sense. If someone can explain what the numbers mean that would be cool, but my main reason in making the post is just to check if it makes sense to download it, or just wait for a better computer down the line. (I know if I am able to run it, it won’t be at the best quality, that’s not my concern)

Hey y’all. I am about a month sober. This is when I usually fail these days.
I have been seeing this girl for the past few weeks. And I really fell for her fast. And she fell for me too.
Yesterday i went over to her place to have dinner and she told me she spent the day before getting IVs and going to the sauna with her friend’s fiancee. I suddenly felt a twinge of jealousy and I kind of shut down.
See. This girl works as a dancer in a strip club. I don’t frequent strip clubs often, but have a long history with the profession. My ex-wife decided she loved stripping 5 years into our marriage, which was fun for a minute and then I didn’t really fit into the picture.
Then after my divorce I fell for a girl in Alaska who later told me “actually I’m a stripper.” I did my best to be good and cool and not let natural jealousies have any power or drive my actions.
I met this new girl at a strip club while I was drunk almost a year ago and then we ran into each other a month ago and went out. It’s been amazing. Like we are both exactly what the other has been looking for.
It has taken everything I have not to tell her I love her too soon. And we’ve both hinted at it. It is real.
But yesterday I felt the twinge of jealousy from her hanging out with a friend. These old thought patterns and mental gymnastics of why it didn’t bother me just got in my way and I couldn’t even communicate properly. I kind of shut down.
She did a great job of bringing me back at one point, but I left because I felt awkward and hoped I could reset. She asked me to come back, I said I don’t know how and I was sad and embarrassed. She said just to come back. So I did.
I was even more awkward, and shut down, and the way I was made her anxious, so I said I would leave, she agreed and we decided to talk later.
Now my heart hurts because i haven’t felt this way in a few years, and I have rolled the dice enough times now to know when something special comes up.
Idk if I just leave it be and give up on this, or if I try and make this work. She is not the other people who have hurt me. And she does seem different. And I truly feel love between us.
It makes me miss oblivion to feel this sad again, and not know what to do. I miss her already and it’s been 12 hours. Can’t eat. Can’t focus on work. I am just waiting until she wakes up this afternoon to talk again and feel what is right.
Dating is tricky, and I think I found someone really good. I’m standing in my own way and kind of sabotaged myself last night.
I always thought I messed things up because of alcohol. Turns out I can mess things up sober too.

Just on my I don’t know how many times now re-watch of the series, specifically the end of Pie-O-My. We got a new TV with a much sharper picture, and I noticed when Tony’s begrudgingly paying the Vet, that Gandolfini is literally drooling onto his jacket after he says “You bettah hope she’s gonna be alright.” Knowing what we know now about his struggles, you wonder if he was fucked up on set at times? I always thought he managed to keep the world’s separate.
Was season 4 the peak of his problems? I’m just curious, because this is way more than the standard Tony spittle spray.
