We booked a flight for 3:30 PM on frontier my wife has a baby shower that ends at 1 pm so that time was the only time she could make the flight. The flight was just changed to 1:30 PM and there are no another flights leaving that day. I was told I can only get a travel credit but I need a refund so we can book on a different airline. How should I go about this?

2025.01.22 15:42 abcdefu8888 A little more than a month ago, I noticed ants inside my MacBook Air. If you’re experiencing the same thing, don’t make the mistake I did.c
Here’s what happened: I Googled solutions and found videos on YouTube and Apple Music with sounds that supposedly drive ants away. When I played them, they seemed to work initially—I saw ants scurrying out of the laptop. However, it actually made things worse because the ants started biting the speakers. They must have really hated the sounds.
Thankfully, I was able to take my laptop to repair technicians, who cleaned the interior and replaced the damaged speakers. They said I was lucky the ants hadn’t reached the display or motherboard yet.
Lesson learned: if you find ants in your laptop, take it to Apple or an accredited repair center immediately to have it professionally cleaned. Don’t try DIY solutions like I did. (And definitely don’t play those ant removal sounds—they’re not worth the risk! 😬)

Guys , I'm working in a startup for past one year, which WFH so far ..now they have opened a office which is almost 33 km from my home ...i know there are people who travel more than this .. but for me this transition is terrifying..i can already see myself burnout in a week if i happened to travel..as much I want to go out there and have interaction...this has been huge concerned..how do u guys travel so long and was it damaging ur health...( Ps - my dad literally trolls , vangura 24k evolo duram ponom huh ..)

Examples:

- for someone with an engineering degree: Ingeniera María Pérez (Engineer Jane Doe)
Also, the signature section can be read:
Director General
I want to know the appropriate terminology in English when referring to an attorney in a legal document; or do I ditch all professional degrees before a name?

Born in ‘97 and for as long as I can remember, my dads side of the family has been “Fox brained”. I was raised Christian, and growing up my grandparents, uncle and dad were always listening to Rush Limbaugh and other radical conservative/religious news sources repeatedly.
They were (and still are) extremely vile people - racist, xenophobic, homophobic, misogynistic, hypocritical, etc. I’m extremely embarrassed to admit that I was not sheltered from their hatred as a child and shared the same beliefs until I went to college and left my non-diverse hometown. Now, I’m completely appalled and ashamed that I was raised how I was.
The craziest part? I grew up pretty poor and remember having foodstamps, free/reduced school lunches, etc. while hearing all about how “socialism was sent from the devil” and “people just want to live off the government”. The hypocrisy is astounding.
My moms side has always been more tame so to speak, but they’re all still trumpanzees.
I’ve gone no contact with most of my family and have been mourning them as basically dead for a while now. My whole life, I’ve been surrounded by hateful adults so I cannot really say whether or not Trump specifically made them worse or not.
Since joining this sub, I’ve been curious as to when everyone started noticing this shift in their families? Can anyone else relate to their family being like this for as long as they can remember?

No NCD. Put it down to zero to see what impact it had. £300.
10 years NCD. Protected the NCD £276
10 years NCD. No protection on the NCD £265.
I mean really. Come on you complete load of tossers. 10 years NCD and you will give me a paltry £24 saving over have zero NCD.
They are having a laugh. I know there are reasons why etc and that those with higher premiums will save more when they rack up NCD years but really!!??
