My only loss at my RTT this past weekend was against blood angels and it wasn't even close, final score 17-100 we basically called the game by round 2 because he had pretty much wiped out all my best units leaving me with basically nothing with his full force basically getting -1 to hit and -1 wound cause of his Sanguinaries holding the mid field like a stone wall. Aside from my forgefiend I was basically doing the meta VoW Exalted spam and I just couldn't get ahead of him.

Hello, J’ai 20 ans, je suis étudiant en école d’ingé (en année sabbatique) et je bosse sur un projet d’application mobile B2C dans le domaine des activités sportives et de loisirs. L’idée est de créer un espace digital qui facilite la communication et la coordination dans cet univers souvent bénévole ou débordé. Pensez à quelque chose d’assez proche de WhatsApp, mais conçu spécifiquement pour ce type de communautés, et sans effort supplémentaire pour les équipes (les membres sont indépendants).
J’ai déjà commencé à valider le problème, et j’ai des wireframes et des designs Figma (qui demandent encore un peu de travail, mais c’est sur la bonne voie !). J’envisage de débuter le développement d’ici deux semaines. Comme il s’agit d’une app assez complexe, qui sera probablement comparée au géant WhatsApp, je pense qu’un partenaire pourrait vraiment faire la différence, ne serait-ce que pour accélérer le développement et m’éviter de passer six mois à coder avant de pouvoir tester avec des utilisateurs. Idéalement, j’aimerais lancer les premières phases de tests d’ici ~2 mois.
Voici ce que je recherche chez un potentiel cofondateur :
- Un profil technique, idéalement avec de l’expérience en dev mobile. Si vous bossez avec React Native, c’est encore mieux, car c’est ce que je prévois d’utiliser. Sinon, je suis aussi ouvert à collaborer avec quelqu’un qui serait motivé pour apprendre sur le tas.
- De la motivation et du temps. Comme je suis en césure, ce projet est mon occupation principale. J’aimerais donc vraiment trouver quelqu’un qui peut y consacrer du temps régulièrement pour qu’on avance efficacement ensemble. J’ai conscience que c’est un point assez compliqué. La plupart d’entre vous avez des occupations professionnelles qui vous prennent du temps mais on peut toujours en discuter et essayer de trouver une organisation adaptée (répartition des tâches asymétrique, etc.) Donc si vous n’êtes pas sûr demandez-moi.
- La volonté d’apprendre et d’échouer. Ça peut paraître cliché, mais je suis convaincu que ces deux qualités sont essentielles pour créer une startup.
Je me vois un peu comme un généraliste (polymath serait plutôt le terme) avec des compétences réparties dans les trois domaines suivants:
- Code : dev web (Next.js) et dev mobile (React Native).
- UX/UI : C’est probablement mon point fort. J’accorde beaucoup d’importance à l’expérience utilisateur et au design.
- Business : Je lis beaucoup (vraiment) et je suis convaincu que ça m’apporte de précieuses idées et notions pour les défis à venir. J’ai aussi plus d’appétence pour cet aspect dans la création d’une startup (avec le marketing) plutôt que le dev mais bon pour le moment je n’ai pas le luxe de choisir donc je fait tout :)
Après avoir essayé de trouver un partenaire via des serveurs Discord sans succès, je me tourne maintenant vers Reddit. Si vous avez des idées ou des suggestions pour m’aider dans ma recherche, n’hésitez pas à les partager :)
PS: je parle évidemment d’une “position” non rémunérée
TL;DR : cherche un partenaire dev mobile (React Native idéalement) pour monter une app qui facilite la communication et la coordination dans les clubs de sport et loisirs. J’ai 20 ans, mais ça ne devrait pas vous bloquer

Hello On 13 December last year our boiler cylinder imploded. I put in a claim with our insurance provider however it was declined as 'wear and tear' due to the age of the boiler.
We arranged for a plumber to come and install a new boiler. While doing the work, the plumber and our local Water board identified a leak of 20L/min on the external underground water pipe to our property. This only happened today.
I am putting in a claim for the pipe, which is covered. I also wanted to mention the failure of the boiler, but my policy wording states: "Contact our claims team to provide full details of your claim. Do this as soon as possible and always within 30 days."
As we didn't know about the outdoor pipe leak at the point of the first claim (on 13th December), I am not sure if this is going to fall outside of the claims period or not. I can't contact our insurers to ask them because they are online-only.
The cost of replacing the boiler is going to be £14k due to the size of the property, so obviously I would prefer this is included in the claim if possible, especially now knowing that the damage came from a faulty pipe and not wear and tear. However, I'm not sure if it will invalidate anything if they say "the leak must have been happening for longer than 30 days so it's not covered". To me that would feel unfair, considering we couldn't possibly have known about it until the water board investigated it. What is the norm here?
