Hello, all I dropped my Longines Flagship and the movement stopped. I opened the caeback and the movement looks to be a good condition my assumption is a damaged a wheel train or knocked the cap jewel. My question is can anyone repair this watch for me?  | I’m using these ones from operation sports. I’m playing on ps5 on World class. This set improves the game play. It improves this years shit show gameplay and AI work in my opinion. But, no matter what - EAFC25, no matter how many patch updates and “fixes” they just can’t get it right. So, there is still some issues - Headers - every delivery and every corner, I thought I was losing my mind until I found out everyone was the same Chip through-ball - is one of my main attacking threats, I’ve perfected it over the years in FIFA. But now, I see the run, I see the space. Go for the PING - and * Fart Noise * Player collisions (on and off ball) - it’s just dumb as fuck. I say no more Lagging CB - I’m going to post a video shortly. I’ve nearly smashed my new TV multiple times because of the blatant cheating by the AI. 2025.01.22 15:52 GdEggplant Filament oozing from hotend.
 | I got this old duplicator i3 mini and filament likes to ooze out of the top end of the nozzle where it screws in and it sometimes oozes out where the heat sync connects to the heated element. I’ve tried tightening all the components pretty harshly together but I guess that triggers some safety system and makes the whole printer freeze and quit. How do I fix this? I’ve been looking into different substances, and one thing that really stands out to me is how weed seems to completely change people’s thinking. For some reason, a lot of weed smokers have an almost delusional level of denial when it comes to acknowledging that weed is, in fact, a drug. I’ve heard people claim it cures cancer, insist that “it’s a herb, not a drug,” and even build their entire personality around it. It’s wild how common it is for people to be in denial about their addiction to weed.
What’s interesting is that with alcohol, most people seem at least somewhat self-aware of their drinking habits. Sure, not everyone, but you rarely see someone making their entire identity about alcohol or covering their walls with vodka bottle posters. Yet with weed, it’s almost like there’s a cultural blind spot—many users don’t even realize they have a problem.
Just something I’ve noticed.

Lately I've been praying to not wake up before I fall asleep. I woke up in the middle of the night and I must have had a dream that everything was just a nightmare and reality was safe, because I woke up feeling an acute sense of relief thinking "thank god it was all just a nightmare," and then within seconds I realized that no, the nightmare is reality and I am grief stricken again that I woke up at all.
I punched myself in the head a few times yesterday, and stared at my arm for a bit and pressed a small pair of scissors to the fleshy part of the forearm and pressed down a bit til it hurt but did not bleed, and looked at my veins. I wonder how easy it would be, or how painful. There are other ways.
I'm so tired.

My family and I are in a developing country where hospice and similar services are not available.
My dad was diagnosed with GBM less than 2 months ago and is still doing well and undergoing SoC.
But knowing the progression of this horrible disease and the fact that my family will not be able to count on any external help, I want to understand what I should learn to be able to take care of him well when the time comes. I've been watching videos from Hospice Nurse Julie but is there anything else you suggest we do?

I bought a used car at the start of the month. On the way home it developed a performance issue and shuddering when braking at high speeds. I immediately called the garage and asked what they were going to do. Originally by salesman that they would do whatever needed to make it right.
Spoke to owner the next day who told me to bring it back, take it to his mates garage and they would fix the issues. Brought it to the garage a few days later and left with them for a week. They told me all resolved and I drove home with no performance issues but still shuddering when braking at high speeds.
I messaged the owner 2 days after getting back on 14th January after getting performance issues again to advise I was going to take to main dealer for diagnostic work and would let him know the costs. No response but read on Whatsapp the day it was sent.
Booked in at the garage a week later to do a full service for £650 and arranged for 2 hours of diagnostic work to be completed at £264 and hour to identify all issues and do a complete service on the understanding that it needed a service anyway and if owner was paying for mechanical bits he had previously agreed to fix (performance and shuddering), I didn't mind having some work done on it to make it right.
Garage have done all there work and say full cost to fix mechanical bits is c. £4000. I contact the owner who tells me he can't go any further then £200 and if I don't want that I can bring back for a refund.
I have every intention of taking it back for a full refund but I am now left with a £1.1k bill for a service and diagnostic work that I would never have asked for if he had just said on 14th January that £200 is as far as he would go for extra costs (as that wouldn't even covered an hour of diagnostic work, let alone fixing anything). Owner claims he was in Dubai and couldn't response saying that on 14th which feels like a weak excuse. There is nothing in writing to confirm he would fix bits all just spoken in person or on the phone.
Is there anything I can do to get him to cough up for the other bit or just have to write off as an expensive mistake?
