My uncle passed recently. I need to hire a lawyer to look into his estate (there wasn't a will but I'm the closest kin). A friend of his gave me several names of attorneys who are local to where my uncle lived. I also have a lawyer that managed things when my mom passed, but he is from a different area (same state, however). I've been satisfied with his work in the past.
How important is it to hire an attorney who is local to the area when it comes to estate matters? Should I just hire the attorney I already have experience with?

Hello All! I decided that I wanted to get back into Fortnite as I was a mobile player who was never really good on the controller but wanted to start getting practice with it. I recently got an HP all-in-one desktop and decided to download Fortnite. I got an old PS4 controller that was not being used and decided to connect it to the computer and use it to play Fortnite. (I connected the controller via Bluetooth but it seems to need the Bluetooth as well as a wireless connection to work properly, so I do both.) The controller wasn't working so I did some research and discovered you needed a service such as DS4 to run the PS4 controller through the HP computer. I went ahead and downloaded DS4 but it seems like ever since I have my computer has been bugging out. There are multiple times throughout normal usage, even when DS4 and Fortnite are not open where the clicking of the mouse will become unresponsive. The screen is not frozen, the mouse pointer moves around on the screen; but whenever I go to click something, it is unresponsive leaving me unable to do anything on the computer. My keyboard and mouse are wireless and typically a simple turn off and back on of the mouse will remedy this issue, if not, a few off-and-on clicks followed by an unplug of the wireless USB that connects the mouse to the computer, but it is still very annoying. I never seemed to have this issue before Fortnite and DS4 were downloaded as well as connecting the PS4 controller to my PC, which were all done simultaneously on the same day. I talked to a friend who is into computers and he said that he's heard sketchy things about DS4 before and it may be a virus from me downloading the service. I did run a diagnosis through HP's antivirus program that comes with the computer in settings but it says that everything is clear and I have no threats. Could it be the DS4? Fortnite? The controller? Anybody with advice is accepted with open arms and open ears. Thank you very much!

Shower and toilet were leaking for a long time before the problem was brought to anyone's attention. Top picture is how it looked several months ago before most of the mold remediation, bottom picture is the current state. The plywood is not soft anywhere, but overall the floor is not completely level (perpendicular to the joists, runs high to low from the window to the wall opposite) and there is some minor warping in the area by the toilet. The floor is also nailed, not screwed, to joists. Do I need to rip up the whole subfloor, or can I lay new plywood/OSB over top? In either case, I will also have GoBoard on top of everything else as an underlayment for the tile. i have tried google-ing my way to an answer but no success so i'm hoping Reddit can help!
I'm creating a document for work that demonstrates how information moves between two organisations. I am using a diagram (calling it the data flow diagram) to capture the process in a visual easy to understand way. The diagram isn't anything fancy - just a table with an arrow showing the data's journey.
The document is quite long, so my boss wants me to create a front sheet showing all pertinent information at the start on a front page. One of the pertinent parts being the data flow diagram.
My problem is that the diagram has to be updated for each information sharing agreement. I don't want people to have to fill in two diagrams for each document.
I feel like a solution lies in some way of embedding the diagram on the front page so when the user updates it in the main body of the document, it will update and display on the front page too.
The problem is I have no idea how to get that to happen!
I would appreciate any help/outside the box thinking.
