 | Hi plant! Hoping someone can help me ID this guy. It’s been in my husband’s childhood home almost since he was born and has gotten quite big over the years. We’re moving farther away soon and worried about how it will do in his absence (his mom is well intentioned but wasn’t the primary plant caretaker before). Hoping to learn what kind of plant it is so we can successfully propagate it without hurting the parent plant and take a smol offshoot with us. Happened this morning. Lady went around the patiently waiting cars in the right lane to be first in the left lane. I had a feeling what she was doing. Sure enough, I sped up when the light turned green, and she did too. She finally slowed down and merged in behind me.
This happens regularly. I see it all the time. Also, I am in a hurry to get to work, too. The sooner I get there, the sooner I can leave. If it’s an emergency, use your flashers, and I will yield all day.

Hey Freunde, ich hab es gestern endlich geschaft für den A80 Führerschein anzumelden. Davor war das mit den Finanzen ein Problem, nun hab ich aber das Geld für Führerschein und Ausrüstung in der Tasche. Da ich dieses Jahr aber einen sehr teuren Urlaub mit meinen Freunden mache sieht es für ein Motorrad leider eher mau aus (auser ich finde ein ein aus hundertausend Angebot).
Mein Vater hat aber einen Kymco Roller mit 300ccm (Sorry das ich das genaue Modell nicht weiß) den er nicht mehr fährt und ich für die erste Zeit benutzen könnte. Natürlich würde ich gerne ein eigenes Motorrad haben, wie z.B. eine Yamaha TDM 900/850 4TX, Suzuki GSF 650S Bandit/ SV 650S oder VStrom 650. Leider sind die erstmal im Budget nicht drin, zumindest bei den Angeboten die ich bei mir im Umkreis bekomme. Eher gesagt sind diese Maschinen zum direkt kauf nicht drin. Ratenzahlung wäre eine Option die ich mit meinem Gehalt stemmen könnte, aber ich scheue mich selber davor da die Maschine dann nach meinem Gefühl nicht meine wäre und ich dann noch mehr Angst hätte das mit ihr etwas passiert.
Also nun zu meinen Fragen:
- Sind die Motorräder überhaupt passend (Ich bin 1,75m) oder gibt es dort bessere Optionen für mich (Ich hätte gerne eine Halbverkeidung)?
- Was sagt ihr, sollte ich als Fahranfänger ein Motorrad auf Raten kaufen oder den Roller von meinem Vater benutzen bis ich das Geld zusammen habe mir ein Motorrad voll kaufen zu können?

Lately my poco x6 pro has been failing, I don't know what is causing it, the phone hasn't been used for a year and I have taken good care of it and right now everything froze and I had to restart it and there was an Android screen that was left loading and from there nothing else happened, I had to press the home button again to get it to work again and on some other occasions it has frozen. Does anyone have a solution or recommend formatting it?

Gigantic just launched on gamepass, and with it a wave of new players are starting. If you want to learn the game, feel free to post here and we'll try to group up.
So here's the deal.
Gigantic is an AMAZING and deep game wrapped inside an absolutely CRAPPY and buggy queue system.
The good news is that once you get into a game they are solid, smooth and work great.
Getting into a game is...not.
To have most success, select lots of characters in the pre-ready up screen. Also, it seems like you'll have more success in a party for some reason. So, post here and find ppl to play with.
Once you ready up and a game pops you'll get a button to confirm. If people don't press that button the queue times out. This is meant to stop games with idle players. But in reality there is some sort of bug that causes this to fail more often than not.
Sometimes it works first time.
Often you'll need to go through 3 or 4 queue pops before the game actually loads.
Then, once the game loads you'll be in the character select screen. If the number at the top stays at 40...then unfortunately you've hit the next bug. Someone's game didn't fully load and you'll be kicked to the queue again after a few seconds to try again.
If you have multiple fails in a row, many of us just shutdown the whole game, restart and try again.
Is it worth it? I have never found a game with this combination of action, skill, startegy and fun, but wholy crap is the queue system busted.
Well...there were a bunch of us that played for for years on a pirate server on a broken build enough that they brought the game back, so I'd say yes.

I am on 1600 dpi and 0.15 in game sens and I find it way better for hitting shots and my hs% has gone up consistently over time. I want to keep lowering it maybe to around 12-13 in game but I find it harder to do things in general. Turning around quickly, trying to use util, close encounters, under flicking and struggling to track sometimes. Its been one of those get used to it as I go type of deals, has anyone else faced that? I’m a junior and feeling really stressed and confused about what major I should finish with. I’m pretty good at building things and have always enjoyed the “engineering” side of stuff, but math isn’t my strong suit at all—especially the higher-level calculus courses.
Here’s a little backstory: I transferred to the University of Tennessee after my freshman year at a small school where I played a sport. Unfortunately, when I transferred, a lot of my classes didn’t carry over, and I ended up a bit behind because of it. Now, I’m seeing many of my friends graduate (or preparing to graduate soon), and it’s making me feel like I need to figure this out quickly. I really don’t want to be that 6th- or 7th-year student—unless I absolutely have to be.
I’ve always considered myself very smart (even if I’m not the best “test taker”), but I’m honestly just confused about what I want to do and what degree I should finish with. Right now, I’m torn between two paths:
- Construction Science Management (CSM): This seems like a good fit for my hands-on skills and interest in building. It wouldn’t take as long to finish as a business degree, which is definitely appealing since I’m already behind. However, I’m not sure how strong the job market is for CSM or how much it limits me compared to other degrees.
- A degree from the Haslam School of Business: I feel like this could open up more doors and give me better job prospects outside of school. It feels like the “safer” option, but it would take longer to finish. I’m also not sure if it aligns as well with my skills and interests as CSM does.
Has anyone else been in a similar situation? Any advice on deciding between these two paths? What’s the job market like for CSM versus a business degree? I’m trying to balance finding something I enjoy, setting myself up for a good future, and not falling too far behind.
