My boyfriend and I recently got a 7 month old kitten. We have had her about a month now. We want to get a second cat but aren't sure if we should wait for her to settle (I've seen online that that takes about 3 months), or if we should get one ASAP so she builds her routine around the second cat.
We also think a second kitten would be good for her to play with because this girl has endless energy! But should we give it some time and then start looking, or start looking now and just get a kitten whenever we find the right fit?

Not only does it feature the 3 worst elements in the game, the bosses in those have stalling mechanica, imunity phases, and the freking electro regisvine that has only 45 sec to beat, out of which 30 is breaking the shield. Truly the worst endgame mode, restrictive and rng based piece of crap.

2025.01.22 18:00 MGKSelfSuck Controller configuration issues
Hello Iām bad at computers š had some time off and wanted to play binding of Isaac on my MacBook with my Xbox pro controller. My mac and steam will respond to my controller, but when I open the game I get the message āunrecognized gamepad! Please setup a key config for the connected controllerā when I go to rebind the controller, all of the options are blank and assigning them buttons had no effect. When I press āaā it acts as a ādownā input on the menu. Spent like an hour using chat gpt to try to figure out why I canāt get in, Iāve got nothing. Any advice? Thanks

Why do I need to see every single expert pure armor and armoes base, whites and blues, when pelt mantle and scale mail, lacking implicits, are literal garbage? It's even weirder when you realize expert temple mauls don't show up, sure they're fast which is bad for hotg or sunder but other abilities exist too and a quick boneshatter or molten blast can do work even if it's not very meta.
I get that armor needs to be reworked and filterblade can't do that. But filterblade is supposed to react to and be based upon the SC trade market and armor and armoes rarely if EVER sells.
I moved to uber strict and it's really like a breath of fresh air even though I would like to craft a little, specifically on things like expert scalper jacket's or expert studded vests are just obviously worth crafting on but hidden.

The āPlumber Testā means that an AI system can handle everything a real-life plumber does: fixing a leaking pipe in a tight space, diagnosing strange plumbing issues, using fine motor skills to manipulate tools, and even navigating the human aspectsālike communicating with homeowners who are stressed about their flooded basement. This isnāt just about understanding physics or having great dexterity; itās about combining physical ability, problem-solving, adaptability, and social interaction in unpredictable real-world environments.
Why This Is Harder Than Chess (or ChatGPT) Most AGI benchmarks are either intellectual (like passing the Turing Test) or narrowly practical (like beating humans at a game or driving a car). But the plumberās job demands:
- Physical Dexterity: Working with tools, squeezing into tight spaces, and performing delicate operations. Robotics is still struggling with fine motor control.
- Real-World Adaptability: Every plumbing job is slightly different. Youāre dealing with unique homes, materials, and problems. Pre-programming or rigid training wonāt cut it.
- Problem-Solving in Chaos: Plumbing often involves diagnosing systems where you donāt have full visibility or perfect information. A robot needs to āfigure it outā like a human would.
- Emotional Intelligence: Homeowners expect clear communication, reassurance, and empathy when their homes are literally falling apart. Social interaction is critical.
Imagine the economic impact of machines that can fully automate skilled labor jobs. This is where things get really interesting: the Plumber Test could be the key to Universal Basic Income (UBI).
How the Plumber Test Leads to UBI When machines can perform high-skill, high-value labor like plumbing, itās not just blue-collar workers who will feel the shift. Once physical labor becomes automatable, the economic landscape changes entirely:
- Labor Becomes Abundant: Machines can work 24/7, reducing costs for essential services (e.g., home repair, infrastructure maintenance).
- Mass Job Displacement: Skilled tradespeople, along with workers in adjacent industries, would face the same disruption factory workers saw during earlier waves of automation.

In short, passing the Plumber Test would be the ultimate sign that AGI is here, and it would force us to rethink what work means, how we distribute wealth, and what kind of future we want to build.
