I’ve been dealing with acid reflux for a while, and it recently worsened when I started vomiting frequently after meals. This was likely due to poor eating habits and ongoing reflux issues. I eventually saw a doctor, underwent an endoscopy, and was diagnosed with intestinal metaplasia. They confirmed I don’t have H. pylori.
My doctor prescribed Pantoprazole, which I take twice daily before meals. It has helped somewhat, but I still experience occasional heartburn. I’ve made significant lifestyle changes, avoiding smoking, alcohol, and trigger foods like spicy, oily, or acidic meals, but I’m still feeling stressed and disheartened.
The doctor reassured me that it’s not likely to progress to cancer, but the diagnosis still scares me. She recommended follow-up endoscopies every three years to monitor it.
I’ve been to multiple family doctors for check-ups, but nothing has really worked. Does this mean I need to stick to a strict diet for the next two years or longer?
I’ve also been wondering if Pantoprazole is the best option for me. While it has helped to some degree, I still have breakthrough heartburn. Should I consider switching to another medication, such as a different PPI or an H2 blocker? Or should I add an antacid for occasional relief?
I’ve read about people who’ve managed to improve or even reverse this condition, so I’m wondering what more I can do. If anyone has suggestions or knows what type of doctor I should consult to explore this further, I’d really appreciate it. The anxiety about this seems to make my symptoms worse.
Some additional context: • I haven’t vomited recently and don’t have other symptoms besides heartburn. • The heartburn is most noticeable when I wake up in the morning but can also occur randomly during the day (not all day long, just on and off). • I work in a kitchen, which makes it difficult to find time to eat. Are protein bars an okay quick meal substitute? • I’ve been taking digestive enzymes before meals and drinking slippery elm tea and aloe vera gel.

Hola. el lunes hice un envío por Correos. El funcionario se equivocó en un número y el prerregistro pilló los datos de otro prerregistro. Cancelaron el ticket y al pasar el móvil (wallet) por el datáfono, salía: OPERACION DENEGADA.
En el sistema Iris de Correos salía el envío cancelado y el ticket como que se había cancelado. Llamó a la central o no sé y le confirmaron que el envío estaba cancelado. Me dijo que me esperara que los bancos suelen tardar unos días blabla.
En mi app del banco aparece en notificaciones: devolucion aceptada (5.29€) y arriba: devolucion anulada (5,29). Entro en la tarjeta prepago y esto nisiquiera aparece. Entro en últimos movimientos, y no aparece. Llamo al banco y me dice que a ellos no les sale como 'operación pendiente de autorización' . Vamos, que no les sale nada de 5,29. Y ellos no pueden ver mis notificaciones, por tant lo de devcolución aceptada, y devolución anulada
Entonces, la cosa es: Correos dice que el envío está cancelado y que al hacer la caja ese día no sobró 5,.29€. El banco dice que no tengo ninguna operación pendiente de 5,29.
¿Cómo se puede solucionar? En plan... ¿Mi dinero a dónde ha ido?

Hello everyone. I'm fairly new to lifting (<1 year) and continue to work a lot on form and mind body connection. I noticed on dumbell chest exercises, chest press in this example, if I grip the dumbells tighter, I feel it in my chest and arms but If I keep a looser grip I feel it a lot more in my chest. Does anyone else experience this? My natural instinct is to grip the dumbells tight to prevent them from wobbling, but I'm not sure if I'm doing it right.

I attended an interview for Us tax analyst on November last week. Few of them received updates next days. They joined on this Jan 2nd-3 rd week. Some got rejection mail last week. I have no update yet. I tried to follow up but no reply, not picking up phones. Why Ey hr is like this. Is there any chance to get selected , or atleast receive an update. I have heard people getting calls even after 2-3 months.

After downloading a dozen videos, it seems that in my downloads it's showing 3 different dates. If I downloaded them all today, they should all be showing todays date in my downloads. As I happen to organize stuff by date so I can watch my latest downloaded videos first, this is a major problem because I will download videos I haven't seen, and some will be way down at the bottom. A few of the downloads through Stacher are showing dates from before this laptop was even manufactured, but the videos I downloaded all came out within the past 2 days. If I download a video, I want todays date on it, not 20 years ago so it ends up at the bottom where I can't find it.

I’m at 55k a year now, in Chicago suburbs working for environmental consulting. I’m about to sign up for my 401k so I’m starting to ponder my salary a bit more than usual. I should be getting my yearly review soon with a raise, and I’m looking/hoping/will ask for 60k. Considering my area and my career, is this good? I’m also very interested in leaving Illinois once I near “project manager” level. I’d like to live any state with more nature, less tax, I’m just not sure what the quality of work is in places like let’s say Tennessee when compared to Chicago, the salaries definitely appear to be in the same ballpark as here. And I picked my major well aware of making less than let’s say business people, but I still want to compete and earn more money. Hi, I have some live plants in my aquarium that are growing really well. I've been trimming them when they get too long but I'd like to use the cuttings. I've seen the aluminium strips online to wrap around the base and weight them down, but the ones I've bought previously had some kind of sponge between the plant and the metal stripes. Would I just use offcuts of filter sponge for this? Thanks in advance.

I mostly like to watch the replays of streams and use a variety of devices and platforms to do so:-
Xbox Series X app Xbox Series X Microsoft Edge app LG Web OS app Android phone app via Chromecast
Every single one of them is buggy and struggles to play streams at their highest quality. I've had this problem since I started watching streams back in the summer.
My Internet is 500 Mbps and my Series X is connected via ethernet.
It appears as though they're probably throttling replay stream quality to make room for live streams. Is that the case?
I was wondering if anyone else experiences the same thing. I'm in the UK and watch Rocket League streamers mostly if that's relevant.
